MIC Drop was my very first exposure to BTS, 7 years ago. Blew me away, it was like nothing I had every seen/heard in music before... Obviously I stayed up until 3am that night searching and watching every video I could find and busily building a playlist...I have been ARMY ever since and never looked back. I listen almost exclusively to BTS and their solo projects now and my playlist has over a dozen hours of music on it 💜💜 I remember being just like the young man on the far left, concentrating so hard to recognize & name members as they came on the screen! Then recognizing their voices in songs was such a feeling of accomplishment...Now I can tell them apart just by photos of their hands 😂

18:53 Talking about superheroes they have a song called Anpanman about being a “different kind of hero”. Anpanman is a Japanese character with a head made of pastry who helps people by giving them pieces of his head. There’s no MV but you can search for a live performances w/subtitles and/or the dance practice. They pose as different Avengers at one point of the choreography. I recommend you check their latest live performance of Mic Drop from their Yet To Come Busan concert last October 2022 where it was attended by 70k live audience and was livestreamed by over 50M worldwide causing the apps to crash from time to time....but so worth it. It's easy to remember them by their lines...rap line 3 and vocal line 4. Or if you wanna go deeper into the fandom, you can remember their names through the fan chant. It starts with the leader then goes from oldest to youngest members and it's done with their birth names. RM aka Kim Namjoon aka Leader of BTS aka the president (etc) fits smack in the middle in age. All members go by many other names as well, but for now just start with their stage names and ease into their birth names.

Better to pause in strategic places in the song, not just anywhere so not to interupt the flow, discuss what you have to discuss and then move several frames back and continue watching 💜

If you want to see them go hard like the rent is due, check out Mic Drop at their Oct 2022 Busan concert. And then watch the song that follows it, Run BTS. But first watch the dance practice for RunBTS as there is no music video for it and the Busan concert is the only performance so far.
