Not-so-fun fact: Kamen Rider Dragon Knight is an American adaptation of Kamen Rider Ryuki developed by CW. It became very popular in Japan, so much that they opted to redub the American show into Japanese, and even had Japanese home media releases. In America, however, the show was pulled off air after the finale. It received limited home releases, and is completely unavailable for streaming anywhere. In Japan, they have full access to the American show redubbed, including HD cuts of the show on home media releases, none of which is available in English. By contrast, here in America, the original full Japanese show is available for streaming, English-subbed.

well, to make it easier for you. Power Ranger was made in 1993 with the originial MMPR, using Scenes from a japanese show called "Super Sentai", specifically Zyuranger which was made in 1992 AND the 16th super sentai in the series, with goranger being the first one made in 1975. Kamen Rider was first made in 1971, by the same studio which made super sentai, which is TOEI. both series is still running to this day, which shows how long this series longetivity has stayed with the people. and if you thought any of these connection is crazy, wait until you figure out where Spiderman fits in all of these.

Kamen Rider have a brother series called Super Sentai and it is basically the original Power Ranger it have been running since 1975 which is 4 year after Kamen Rider and the first power ranger taken it footage from Zyuranger the super sentai of 1992

I also say, there is ways to watch Kamen Rider now. Not every season as we're still trying to work it out, but we do have official western releases for some seasons. So, if I had to recommend any KR seasons for you to watch? It'd be... Ex-Aid, Geats, Build, Zero-One, and W/Double.

Just to give a rundown of production, this all started thanks to a man named Shotaro Ishinomori, closest American comparison would probably be Stan Lee. He made a manga called Skull man which would be noticed by Toei and they would get him to make a tv show which was the first Kamen Rider. Super success but Toei wanted make more money so they asked him to make a team based show so they have a reason to make more toys and products which would lead to super sentai. This would also be super popular and a few years later Haim Saban, the guy behind power rangers, would watch super sentai and convince the people behind Toei to allow him to license the series outside of Japan leading to power rangers. It’s all a very interesting journey honestly

Kamen Rider and Super Sentai (the original Power Rangers) has the same creator btw, Shotaro Ishinomori (also the creator of Cyborg 009). They even did a huge crossover event movie in 2021 as anniversaries for both series (50th for Rider, 45th for Sentai) and as a big love letter to Ishinomori himself.
