The black and white solo covers (also including a dance performance) were the first glimpse of the members and I think the B&W is supposed to make sure you’re focusing on their talent, plus its showing its in the past. They are currently 15-22 years old, and were 13-20 at the time of their introductions and survival-esque show, the Last Evaluation, which had multiple jaw dropping performances so I recommend checking it out! They were introduced with the covers and introduction videos, but then YG said not all of them would debut in Babymonster (not that they wouldnt debut, but just not in BM). If you check out Last Evaluation, and the member announcement video, you’ll understand what I mean (there’s also a video of the girls reacting to the member announcement video). Despite their young age, they trained for an average of 3.5/4 years (many beginning around 10 years old). Their absolutely gorgeous song Dream (which has a MV showcasing their auditions, years of training, and scenes from the show) was released following the conclusion of the show, and the member announcement video and you should really check that out. Their song Like That (which has an exclusive performance video you should watch) was actually given to them by Charlie Puth after he saw Ahyeon’s viral cover of his song Dangerously (took place on the show), which despite being released in 2016, won an award in SoKorea last year, showing Ahyeon’s potential to be the 5th gen It Girl. Asa is the ace of the group, and Ahyeon is the golden all-rounder, but each girl is insanely talented just by themselves. YG’s goal with this group is to make them a team full of all-rounders and aces, and many of others have showcased their ability to do so. Pharita, Rora , and Haram/Rami (in particular) have displayed rap potential, Ruka has an incredibly charismatic singing voice, and Chiquita is learning how to rap and will be most likely joining the rap line soon. In that particular clip, Rami’s hair is a bit too yellow, but in other videos (Sheesh, Forever, SITM, etc) the color has set in a bit more and looks great. Fans tend to agree that Rora and Pharita are part of the visual line (and they are known as the princess duo), but every girl is so stunning its kind of hard to make a decision abt the rest of visual line. Ahyeon actually didnt train at JYP, she was accepted but chose to go to YG. She and Pharita have the strongest English (our rich Princess Pear went to an international school), and Asa, despite being Japanese, has perfect Korean pronunciation no matter how fast she raps (and girlie can go QUICK) which has stunned K-netz in particular. Despite being so young, Rora’s tone and emotions are breathtaking, Rami’s vocals are absolutely jaw-dropping (her Pick Up Your Feelings cover in LE is stunning), and thats just a bit of what they can do. I would check out Dream, Like That, Last Evaluation, their intros, etc. If you want to see the very first glimpses of them, the group was announced with “YG Next Movement” video. Hope you like them!

Love your reactions. The guides are good but watching the actual content from YG is so much better. I recommend starting with the black and white individual Live Performances (cover songs). These videos are what YG first introduced to the world. They are so good and lure you in. Then watch their individual Introductions to learn more each members and see the progression when they first started as trainees. There’s also a character play list that’s short and funny. Finally, I highly recommend the show, The Last Evaluation. You get so see how these girls are evaluated during different missions by their peers and producers. You also see how they work together and prep for their performance. Other songs that don’t have MV that are worth watching are Dream (pre-debut song), Like That (Executive Performance Video) this was gifted to them by Charlie Puth because he was impressed by Ahyeon’s cover of his song, Dangerously. There’s a performance of her covering this song, but if you plan to watch the Last Evaluation, then skip this cover because it’s from the show and will spoil the episode. Anyway, I hope you react to more BM content.

Great Reaction Tzuwu2! Those black and white videos are a good way to learn about their voices before they started The Last Evaluations! And also have Introducing videos for each member! If you don’t want to do the Last Evaluations They have something called Clean version of performances during The Last Evaluations! Which means the camera stays on them and doesn’t pan to the judges! 🤘🙏🏻

Leader of 5gen...Unmatched talents and live VOCALS and rap performance in the industry. The global fans really appreciate beautiful English singing and do it with justice. 6 Vocalist, Ruka can sing she is underrate but still need to improve. She has the highest pitch(high note challenge). 5 rappers total, 3 Main rapper(Ruka, Ace Asa, and Ahyeon) + Chiquita and Rami(Receiving Rap lessons) Ayheon(R&B high notes) Rami (R&B Jazz whistle notes) Rora (R&B Soul) Chiquita (Indie Vocals) Pharita (Angel Standard Kpop Vocals) Ruka(Hip-Hop Rap) Asa (Modern Rap)

My Bias is Chiquita and Asa. Chiquita is just too cute, she is open and honest with her feelings, Chiquita doesnt have an OFF switch, she says whatever is on her mind. Asa is the mom of the group, responsible and tender. She is the total opposite on stage, she is fierce and powerful stage presence.. I love Babymonster as a group but these 2 stand out the most.

We have same bias. Chiquita became my bias since I watch her bedroom cover aside from being young and she became in a group even with shortest training period (3 months) proves how talented she is then so many reasons came up / follows why I am solid chiquita bias specially when she got sick (COVID 19) she impress me so much and so hard I saw her big heart, a fighter dedication, professionalism eagerness to achieve her dreams responsible at her young age truly a good role model for the young generation now and I add Asa as my second bias after batter up era.❤😊

I have followed their struggles since before their debut and because of that I really love the seven of them. Ahyeon being a trainee under JYP is false misinformation, she was not a trainee under them but she passed the audition but didn't pursue it. She passed both JYP, YG and banana culture company but ouf that she chooses YG.

There is some wrong information in this video, for example, Rora is the youngest, yes, she is the youngest after Chiquita And for Ace in the introduction video on the BABYMONSTER channel or other Babymonster content called Ace only Asa. Ahyeon and Rora are all rounders. But I'm sure they're all all rounders And maybe the seventh could be Ace if they can compose songs like Asa, not just make their own lyrics YG have they'r introduction member so no need to watch other introduction.. There could be misinformation.

I have a bias tho all of them are my wreckers😅 ahaha My bias is Asa or Acesa, that's how others call her... spoiler alert, she's also an allrounder, she's one of the best dancers in the group even acc to professionals, you can see it on their evaluation vids, and she's super cool when she raps... for me she's like an angel off stage, but on stage she's the opposite... all of them are actually, but for me she just hits different... And, the fact that she's like the mother of the group even tho she's the 3rd oldest, is really cute.. and she's also a perfectionist... she's timid and really girly like the members even describe her movements and everything about her pretty... but when she performs she's really dominating... Ahahaha... it was too long.. sorry😅 Also, I think I'm the first to comemby aside from you?? More reaction vids of them pls🙏🥹❤️‍🔥

They are very complete videos with more information and have 2 more songs that you failed to react and they are dream, which is predebut and like that. Lovely Reaction! Please watch the Introduction videos from the BabyMonster channel. This guide video messed up so many of the pronunciations of their names, and you can hear the proper pronunciations in the official videos. Asa is properly pronounced Ah-sa in Japanese (though Chiquita later started the trend of the members calling her Ace-sa, for her being an Ace). Pharita has no "F" sound at the beginning, it is the "Pa" sound from 'Paw', Shin Haram (now stage name Rami) is not Shin Hyrien as stated in the video. Most of the video clips used here are from the Introduction series anyways, so please watch those to get to know them better. The black and white videos are from the "Live Performance" videos Babymonster (#1-#7) on the YG Entertainment channel after the girls were first teased with "YG Next Movement".

Rather than watching any guide video you should watch their Official Introduction Video & Character Playlist, Last Evaluation Series- it on Babymonster You Tube Channel. Most importantly the Black & White video - the live performance video of each member were the first video that YG introduced them to us, its on YG Entertainment you tube channel.

This is not the best guide. It’s not wrong. Just missing many things. The best is just watch the introduction videos on their own channel. Which is where most of this footage come from. But in the intros you actually get to hear them sing and YG staff talk about them.
