Watching these fights without all the conversation and all the context is such a shame, cause so many of the fights are also very emotional, just like the lightsaber battles in star wars, they're such a pivotal part of the story, along with the music as well of course, that you need the entire context to fully appreciate them.

The way these are cut is devastating. At first, I thought maybe it wass just how you guys edited the video, which is fine, but it looks like these cuts are just the video itself. The creator of naruto admits he's a big dragonball fan. So you might not know from clips, but there are 9 beasts, naruto's being the 9 tails aka Kurama, but the 4 tails is the giant monkey King known as son goku and his "jinchuriki" aka the person he is sealed in, is named roshi. So it's master roshi, with a giant monkey named son goku, and it's the 4 tails like the dragon ball that started everything because in dragon ball, goku first left on his adventure because he was looking for his "grand father's" (found him and raised him) 4 star dragonball. Oh and the 3rd hokage can summon a monkey who transforms into a staff that can extend and change size like the power pole in dragonball.

The Son Goku and Roshi connection, yeah, definitely Dragon Ball. The Staff that Enma turns into, however, is simply based on the same thing as the Nyoi Bo in Dragon Ball. The Ruyi Jingu Bang, the destined weapon of choice of Sun Wukong. A fat, long, black, iron pillar that can resize as Wukong needed. So, in that regard, Enma's staff form is actually closer in appearance and abilities to the Ruyi Jingu Bang, as the Nyoi Bo is Red and isn't shown getting wider, just long.

Obito and Kakashi were rivals and became enemies later. Rock Lee is based off Bruce Lee. And the punch that Naruto does that still hit one of the Pain's is because of a sage fighting technique called frog-kata which is described as the perfect defense/offense which if someone even dodges his hits they'll be hit regardless based on the nature chakra in the area.
