Non Stop Action - DRY TORTUGAS FISHING - PART ONE

Fishing the Dry Tortugas, non stop action! The bite was on fire and it was fish after fish. We caught a huge variety of fish, snapper, grouper, tuna, mahi, and nasty jacks. Slow pitch fishing was one of the methods. This is part one of a two part series.

Your best bet is fishing ledge south of the fort, in about 190-220ft. Use heavy jigs with a ballyhoo or with an artificial tail. You can also just drop a ballyhoo with a regular fish finder rig.

Fish southeast of the fort! 235 there’s a nice ledge that you should come across. Lots of sharks so make sure you guys have a lot of tackle and take lots of ballyhoo
