Tsunoda was really good. Though I didn't think that seoi-nage was a score against Koga, at least from the camera angle we've got, especially now that you have to hit 90º or more to count as a waza-ari. But either way, Koga has big trouble with Tsunoda, I think it's her fourth loss to Tsunoda already. By the way, Tsunoda lost to Tatsukawa Rina in Japan, in the 2020 Kodokan. It would be neat to have a video on all categories, but I think for newaza 57kg and 63kg were more interesting. 52kg was the big thrower's day.

Yeah, it doesn't look like a waza-ari. This was her closest match with Tsunoda so far. Thanks for the correction again. I didn't realise Tatsukawa was such a strong contender at 48 kilos. Clement technique it is okuri eri jime. We can see start this technique at 13:53-13:54 when she grabs opponent's collar and the collar starts to cut her opponent's neck. Then Clement uses legs no for chocking effect as sankaku jime but she uses legs for to pull opponent to the ground and for reduce space for the escape. She holds opponent's collar on the neck by right hand the all time. When she had opponent on the ground she uses other hand for maximally pressure and tight and she forces opponent to tap. You have true it was very nice action on Grand slam level tournament.

She only does juji-gatame, okuri-eri-jime and traditional osaekomi.

At 16:13 to allow escape from this position at Grand slam level? It is big surprise. She had opponent's elbow between knees and she could to increase pressure to opponent's elbow and to move her arm to uncomfortable position behind opponent's head only...That's all and opponent has to tap quickly. Her behave is very bad in this position...At 16:36 she disconencted her legs herself and she made space for esccape her opponent. Incomprehensible.

The only time I saw Natsumi Tsunoda in trouble was at the 2023 Japan Championship against Funa Tonaki, who beat her. Tonaki countered all of his attacks.
