Frazer Town in Bangalore has some of the best food joints for all meat lovers. This street usually is one of the most lit and crowded areas during Ramzan. Our trip down to Frazer town, was one yummy meaty journey.
We tried the Anda Keema Roti, which is flour dough stuffed with spiced minced meat and eggs. This dish is quite similar to the Mughlai Parantha, which is quite popular in Bengali cuisine, but the stuffing and spices is what makes it completely different. Of course we had to drink Chai after this fried meal. This area is mostly a Muslim dominated area which is why the food here has a Muslim as well as an Arabic influence. And even the Chai we had here was not the mundane milk tea, it was Sulemani Chai. The Chai has a hint of lemon and cumin in it which makes it super unique.
We landed at Savoury Restaurant for a taste of the Arabic and found ourselves chomping on Shawarma, and later some classic Bakhlava. Our trip though, would not have been complete without visiting Corner House. This place is recommended by everyone we talked so we just had to go there. And boy it was worth it!!! Vanilla ice cream, chocolate cake and a chocolate sauce which is made in-house and is to die for! Trust us, this rich little dessert is worth making a trip down from Delhi to Bangalore. You will forget your Hot Chocolate Fudge cravings once you have tasted this.
We ended our food fiesta with a whole lotta meat. I mean our entire table was full of some iconic meat dishes that are most popular amongst the Muslim community and are truly delicious!

This episode of DFW was the best which I have ever seen. Mohammad Was an excellent host and he knew the right places to visit as well he was taking the pressure of Anubhav Sapra. Another thing which I wish to highlight is that regardless of the caste and creed, we have Muslims in our country living in harmony who live and Love to host friends and relatives just like Mohammed did. I'm proud being an Indian. Mrs Sharief too was very warm. This is where education makes a difference. We don't need people to speak English. We need educated people with sensible thoughts. Hats off to Anubhav and Mohammed for presenting tjis warm episode. Keep posting more.

My fellow Bengalurean could have cut down on the keyword "Muslim" throughout his verbal interaction. I am not here to provoke communal harmony we have in Bengaluru but it was just too much of emphasis! Would have felt the same if someone used the word "Hindu" or "Christian" repeatedly without the need for it.

Not really, food is a cultural thing..for instance there is no such word as a Muslim cuisine as there are remarkable differences in the cuisine of the Turkish, Afghan, Arab and Muslim countries of the former Soviet Union...we need to acknowledge that culture and demographics have a far stronger influence on cuisine than religion, just stating facts here friends with no intention to offend anyone....yes religious occasions call for certain foods and prescription for the slaughter, reference to "halal" meat, but that doesn't really justify calling a cuisine Muslim....

It is the continuation of food tour in Bangalore, India. I heard that there are many vegetarians in India, but here is meat and oil. Spicy keema with flour made from wheat flour and fried eggs and meat mixed with fried eggs are fried in oil. This will be delicious. After having a greasy stuff, it is a chai with lemon flavor. This seems to fit very well. There are many Muslims in this area, and they are influenced by Arab. The appearance also appears in food. I guess the sweets are delicious. Vanilla ice cream. How, Hot Chocolate had a perfect score of 10 points. Finally, because it was with a supermarket, it was a fine restaurant if I thought shopping would be done. Several meat dishes came out on the plate. Among them was Mutton's Biriyani. This is perfectly delicious. India is really big. I can taste such meat dishes, too.

I read all the comments here being told about the guide in frazor town....true.....I agree..(too much of oil used being used here.....which is not good for health).......but guys.....most of we Hindus do have Muslim friends.....we have been to our Muslim friends house to have the typical Muslim biryani.....we have told our mom's"Amma.....please prepare mutton biryani like Muslim mutton biryani"......we have told our moms....."Amma....please prepare non-veg dishes like that of hyderabadi's Muslims............."haven't we????......we all know that Muslims prepare all non-veg dishes with good high quality of spices and dry-nuts....we all like Arabic sweets and dry fruits and non-veg recipes....don't you remember that our moms have asked her other Muslim friends(aunties)...."please help me out your Muslim style of non -veg recipes....my children and my husband like your kind of dishes...."and all.... isn't friends?.....in the same way.....that guide would have highlighted that....we all know that still we do pull legs of our Muslim friends....to give treat of Ramzan/Id..(typical Muslim style mutton biryani....)...knowing that it will be very very tasty.......I bet all of us have done that...don't we say Brahmins Iyengars puliogare is good....??!!!!it's just the same way friends.....Brahmins mention nameon the hotels as "Brahmins Tiffin Center".....it's just for the sake of identity........now here in Frazor town....it's the same.....we in our family still go to the best of Arabic-muslim-hotels or whatever you call......for the delicious non-veg dishes........we give credit of puliogare mix to our Brahmins Iyengars friends ....and why not our Muslim friends not get the credit for the delicious non-veg recipes?....isn't friends.....I know still heart-of-hearts......all we Hindus do like Muslim -style mutton biryani......don't we???!!!!☺come on friends......it's all about food and health.......we all Indians should respect each other......and friends.....never forget to put tax(treat☺) on our Muslims friends when it's Ramzan/Id. .....☺foe the yummy-tasty mutton biryani....☺👍
