Amazing, never seen that before. Even though it is a little rough, it looks kinda cute in comparison to ducks, who are also some of my favourite creatures. Nona did so well

Hi Dayyan, recently discovered your channel and really have enjoyed catching up on your videos. I've recently returned to keeping reptiles after a 10 year break and you've been such an inspiration. This video is such a great example of your commitment to the channel and producing quality video, really appreciate it. Looking forward to Tuesday.

Awesome video 👍 exciting times to come, Rambo sure is a stud muffin. The first time i caught my leopard geckos mating I was slightly horrified even tho I knew what happens, the courtship lasted quite awhile & I kept telling the male to stop being such a bully (as you do) it was fairly aggressive but the actual 'deed' was over less than 2 minutes lol, 2nd clutch due, love your channel, have been watching for a few years now, so glad you reached 100k, congrats from England 👏😍😀

I'm breeding my brown toads (such a generic name for a cool toad species) this summer. I have to create a bigger space, since I have five hidden away and I need a larger water feature if I want tadpoles/pollywogs from five toads. I'll have to invest in a big exoterra, probably. I want people to appreciate this species as a good pet. Also, to anyone that might ask, mine are not cane toads. They do look similar, but brown toads are not as bumpy and the poison glands are much bigger. They are actually way more toxic than a common cane toad. I wash my hands every time I handle mine and I don't agitate them enough to make them ooze that poison. They are very tolerant, except one... and he's a jerk. Also, the toxin is only significant if you get it in your eyes/mouth or on lips. It's easy not to, since it smells like someone peed on a rotten piece of fruit when they ooze. You'll want to wash your hands immediately. This species was native to the West Coast of the US, first. Now they are an invasive species in North Florida, Georgia, and the Carolinas. Most websites won't show that they are not present in Florida, but people forget about ecology in North Florida all the time since we're not the everglades.

Posted 3 hours ago?! Why am I only getting notice now?! Been waiting for this !!!! 😍 oooooo!! Chonky Pingu!!! Sooo exciting!!!!! Dropping tails while breeding?! I can’t imagine that being a regular occurrence in the wild? Or why would they be so vulnerable to tail loss if after they’re all done breeding they have nothing left to lose to a predator, know what I mean? Evolution would’ve come up with a different way no? Cause losing their tail is for defence, not to ensure a successful breeding, amiright? Me? Breeding projects? Nope! I leave that to you experts! The mating of cresties doesn’t look near as terrible as large monitors! Interesting vid buds, thanks! I honestly just found out a lot of lizards have hemis, my hubby asked me if hemipines meant that they had powerful naughty bits, like a Dodge Hemi engine... lol

@Reptiliatus3 жыл бұрын
Give him a few days and make sure the females are well fed. I would suggest placing them in a screen enclosure together and ideally offer the female being mated something to eat and hold. They usually aren’t too aggressive to males but it’s an extra insurance 😅. At some point overnight they’ll mate usually. Try to also mate them again between oothecas for better yields each time. Good luck! (I used to work with a lot of mantids in University)
