He’s fairly easy XD he come with flirt mode on as default. If you just travel with him he will tell you what he approves of :p other then that support him and be there for him (high persuasion is recommended since he’s very guarded due to his history)

@@Lilyfaye13 funnily enough I am playing Bg3 right now and I just picked that exact thing up 2 years later. You have perfect timing. I don't know if they changed the scene, some of the cutscenes have been removed since early access such as the one before the Ogre in the barn. When I get Astarion in my party I'll have a look at the chest and let you know if anything happens.

I recognise he’s evil but I can’t hate him. He’s too fun. He’s pretty, and everything coming out of those lips is either really funny or really sexy. And he’s a bit immature whiny crybaby sometimes- it would look bad on anyone else but for him, it works. It’s cute. The one I don’t like is Gale. At first I thought he was nice but then the whole needing to consume magical items, needing to keep alive , and everything he does and says if he doesn’t get what he wants …it makes him a very annoying character. At least when Astarion can’t get what he wants, you get something funny for your trouble lol

Вот не знаю, сознательно Ларианы это сделали или нам просто коллективно хорни в глаз попало и дальше Астариона среди сопартийцев теперь сложно что-то разглядеть. Мне очень нравятся Лаэзель и Шедоу, кстати. Но тоже кажется, что в Астариона было вложено непропорционально бо'льшее количество ресурсов. Уже одна проработка его овер эмоциональной мимики и жестикуляции чего стоят! Все остальные по сравнению с ним действительно из-за этого выглядят вялыми) Не уверена, хочу ли я для него хэппи энд, впрочем. Но поживем увидим)

И я как раз-таки хочу хотя бы нейтральной концовки, но... именно Астарион будет против избавления от червя, даже выкинет что-нибудь неприятное. Его буквально придется убеждать, что мы сможем убить Касадора в схватке, где либо мы, либо его мастер. И даже после этого есть возможность, что Астариан все равно захочет оставить червя... Есть у меня предчувствие так же, что дойдя до Касадора мы узнаем много гадкого из человеческой жизни Астариана, например, как судья он был жестоким и бездумным, что и привлекло Касадора. Иначе уж слишком все гладко получается - избавление несчастного слуги от его злого мастера.

I have no problems with vampires or elfs for the matter in fantasy games. But my idea of vampire in fantasy is someone like Vlad von Carstein from warhammer fantasy, not some corny overgrown teenager with bad attitude. Since twilight came out it became a genre trope of making vampire likebale and charismatic
