Nah, Izayoi Nonomi is my favorite and most used Blue Archive commander. She's without question the strongest German secondary commander, coming from someone with every secondary commander in the game at 16/4. Her unique skill gives enhanced secondary consumables virtually 100% uptime. Takanashi Hoshino is the most overrated -- you gain DPM at the expense of accuracy, and gain one extra heal at the expense of losing every single fire skill, making you less tanky in reality.

I have 3 extra heals on my build with Hoshino and a 21s reload on the Ohio. It’s really effective but only if you whale it like me and get an absurdly high amount of extra consumables.

​@@mr.worldwide1934 She has only one extra heal above the 2 that other commanders get. What you don't have that every other commander can get are skills to limit your chances of catching on fire, total number of fires, and damage from fires.

Schroders mains are very underrated. I did pair mine with rigerwald but they will dev strike a lot of stuff if you get up to point blank range. One of the only cruisers id feel comfortable doing drive bys.

Yes, me too. Riegerwald is so key for this ship. Upgrade the secondaries with modules, but run all of Reigerwald's AP skills. I've got Norm Scott and von Essen for inspirations.

Since Schroder’s main strength is secondaries and doesn’t have torpedoes, I thought it wouldn’t benefit from doing a drive by since you’re opening yourself up to getting smacked broadside without the chance of using torps. Is it still pretty effective? I might try it out next time :)

@@YankeeAllStars like i said ive gotten devestating strikes on things in a drive by. Know that if you attempt it you will lose a lot of hp. And some battleships can punch straight through to your citadel as well so its just safer to avoid it. But the first time it happened i was absolutely shocked and once i started respecting the mains i started getting much better games. They dont get many citadels from range so shoot for superstructure and things you can pen.

Schroder's main guns are solid enough, I get good hits from them with very little buffing. Usually, I let the Secondaries do most of the work, then finish off what's left with the Mains. Works very well for me.

Bismark with Von Hipper and Klingon Commander as inspirations is the best build for the Schroder...straight tank IMO

I got her on the BC line aka Schlieffen with the perk that give you an extra DCP with Hipper and Fisher using Nuisance, Talented Crew, OST, MM and Secondary. Full secondary mods with Engine and Concealment. Her unique perk is not so interesting but having her on the Battlecruisers for me feels better than Ciliax and having those extra DCPs does help and it's been working for me so far.

I've been having some insane secondary games with her 🤷‍♂️ running Lyons for the flamethrower effect with my 11.6km secondary range on the Bismarck B. Five heals and 6 enchanced secondary charges makes for A TON of fires 😅

Interesting video. I like the Schroder, and see her Main guns as good, even unbuffed. Then, I went ALL In on the Secondary build (Azur Lane Bismarck, with Haruna and Graf Spee inspirations), so the Main Guns most frequently get used for finishing off ships previously buzz-sawed by the Secondaries. Extra charges on Enhanced Secondary Targeting always look like a 'Must Have' - until you realize that you almost never get to use more than 3 charges per game. My own experience, anyhow. But I have to say. I've obviously missed something, because I am clueless about the 'Why?' of your specific objections to Nonomi.

She to me is great I run her on some of BBs, that secondary skills she gets plus her Base Trait is pretty good, I run Bismark and Von hipper as her insperations, she yeets DDs, and since German BBs are for brawling her skills work out well,

I'm not gonna lie I got it and put a decently maxed out AL Bismarck and I got 11km secondarys on a 12-2 commander hitting 100k games pretty consistently

I think overall i like otto more. I have her and i like the inspiration because it can go on almost any ship. For this ranked season i switched to Otto for running with scissors and extra fire chance. The loss of secondary range with her specific skills isnt worth it.

I love my Schroder. I run this same build except that I use the alantico commander, just cause I don’t have the AL commander. I’m still on the fence on Bismarck, she has a more consistent hit rate
