Hayman's Old Tom Gin Review!

Because I LOVE GIN and just found/bought/tasted this beautiful Gin for the first time this week (I live in a very backcountry rural area in Florida USA, gotta travel to a city an hour away to find fun libations🤠😆) I have to applaud you for this excellent video! Your expression of delight was EXACTLY THE SAME AS I FELT when it first crossed my lips! It’s a true champion of what Gin IS and should be! You are spot on Bobby. Just got the Tom, I was hesitant at first as you stated the Tom's are a slightly sweeter gin which are not to my liking. But Hayman's is just so well done, the sweetness is so subtle and balanced. Really enjoying this drop.

Great video! One gin I picked up from a lovely distillery is the The Lakes Gin from the Lake District. However if you want one from more afield Icelandicdrinks sells old islandia gin from Iceland at £25 a bottle with free delivery I believe, I’ve had a taster and it was beautiful.

Hi my No Nonsense friend, I think at this pace I'll watch all your videos by the end of tomorrow, let me tell you that I just check one of the best liquor stores in my area and they do have Hayman's Old Tom and Sloe, and very nice priced, so I'll head there tomorrow and get my Old Tom fix, and I'll be expecting my cash if I don't like it lol. Hi Bobby I love your reviews and especially when you mimic regional accents an dialects, its funny but they are pretty accurate really. I keep meaning to ask if you have tried 'One Gin' Sage or their Sage and Apple gin? I tried a small taster bottle and thought it was pretty good! Cheers Andy

Oh man what a great lovely mild Gin. I tried now some others but this is after the gunpowder the mildest. Pure a joy with fever tree mediterranean an awesome gin tonic with a near fruity tasting awesome gin

Hi mrpipps Yes, everyone drinks gin with tonic over here in England. I know some people drink it neat but the tonic actually releases the flavours and let’s them run wild! Give it a try some time and see what you think 😊😊

Not to disagree with all the awesome comments BUT [to me and to clarify a bit] it doesn’t really “taste” sweet as much as it actually “FEELS” sweet going through the mouth. I don’t get that tasty sweet like any sugar but it definitely “feels” sweet--which sounds weird but [to me] there’s a way different “taste” to sweet than that “feeling” of sweet 🤭😳😜 The mouthfeel is so silky/velvety…such a SEXY GIN! Holy martini!! 🍸 🙌🏽🍸 😍

Gotta say Haymans Old Tom has given me a nice reprieve from the London dry norm. Under $30 and easy to find in the US, I think this will be a regular in my cabinet.

I just dumped a nearly full bottle of this down the toilet. It is quite nasty, with a mean bite, even when watered down, and a hang over to boot. You get what you pay for. Back to Hendrick's
