After finally watching the Leon Bailey video, I have two simple comments. 1) He is frustrated because of the suspension. He has the attitude that I’m Leon Bailey, the English Premier League Star. He just needs to accept accountability for his action and move on. If this same thing happens at the club, he will accept it but this is just Jamaica, the third world suppressed football program. 2) JFF is the most unprofessional federation in FIFA. Picking a fight with them right now didn’t help his case because that gang of unprofessional at the JFF has already been exposed. Bottom line, Bailey needs to get over his ego if he wants to continue represent Jamaica. Notice I didn’t say represent JFF. Your teammates are making sacrifices as well. I would expect this behavior from the English base players, but they are showing to be more focus and dedicated to the program. Bailey is good but is just one person on the team the coach has the responsibility to keep the team focus and motivated. The treatment that Bailey is seeking will not help the team.

The things Bailey asks for are not normal - richer countries than Jamaica don't pay for first-class flights and the player shares a room with another teammate .also remember Butler wanted Leon to play for Belgium and England? he bullied JFF to take Leon and Kyle else Leon won't play for Jamaica? there is way more I could write but let me leave this here

I always tried to understand Mr. Butler’s position on a lot the debacles played out in the media. However, every time he comes off so arrogant and self centered. Funny enough I also see the same thread in the behavior of Bailey and Whisper; this tells me one thing!! This is so unfortunate and neither Mr. Butler nor Bailey can ever come out looking good on this topic. The JFF who has been shambles looks like the element of sound statue. On the fact that Bailey voiced his position to take a sabbatical from the National Program, I hope the Reggae Boyz coach DONT INITIATE any contact with Bailey. Any further representation in the Black, Green and Gold must be initiated by Bailey and hopefully from a contrite heart. Given his utterances, no less should be accepted.

Did Bailey playing for Jamaica helped him in anyway to play for Bayern? Did playing for Jamaica helped himself to be at Aston Villa? Does Bailey playing for Jamaica gave him any exposure, or is it helping more people to look at possible more talents coming out of Jamaica? Can you imagine working for an employer who treats you like crap while expecting you to work and abide by rules, how long before you'd get to the place where you could careless about his rules and just walk away? Some of Bailey's statements might come across as arrogant, I beg to differ. I will give you an example, Messi is currently playing for Inter Miami, they had a preseason game I believe it was in Hangkong, it was sold out because MESSI was coming. Stadium was sold out and when Messi didn't play they asked for their money back. Nobody coming to watch JFF. While I don't agree with the way that Bailey said many things in the interview, he is right! If no one plays for Jamaica guess what, JFF ain't got no job and they need to bear that in mind.

I think the interview was unfortunate and didn't help Bailey or Jamaican football... I believe Bailey when he said the coach tried to get him to come play after suspension but he did not help his cause when he made it more about himself than than he should have. I think he got caught up in his feelings! Mr Butler is trying to do what any manager would do in this situation and sometimes can be a little too arrogant... As far as the history goes between Butler and Jamaican football federation I 80% agree with Butler most of the time. They have done themselves a disfavor on this one though because it now makes a lot of the public sympathetic towards the Jamaican federation. Which I consider corrupt and bankrupt. What this has done though is to show those who are haters behind the scene, and the lack of common sense in most people, who are disingenuous and only care about the fact that they can't get to see the best of the Jamaican team. For them Fuck the truth in what Leon Bailey has said... I hope the coach does not get involved in politics of the Jamaican football federation, that team Bailey rethink his position and put the team first as I believe he does most of the time not all the time (this interview is an example of that).
