perhaps a monster with an emp? something that will disrupt your radar ability the moment a picture of it is taken. Its path would follow the players, but it would be only slightly slower giving the player a small chance to escape. whatever monster you end up making, have it be something that can interact with the unique radar mechanic.

One potentially good idea to add would possibly be a way to defend yourself but not rely on it. Say you forget to check your surroundings and the killer is right next to you next you check, so you have a one to three time use shotgun or smth to defend yourself if you don't think you'll be able to save yourself. You should add a throwing mechanic where you can pick up bottles, candles, or vases The way it works is if the monster or killer is guarding an area you have to go to, you can throw an object in a direction and it will go to it making a distraction Another why to use it is just by throwing it at the killer or monster Stunning it for 2 or 3 seconds The catch is you can’t see the monster or killer unless you take a picture and you can only have 1 throwable So that’s my idea, but where is the odds you see this

Add a vent system that the player can use to navigate from one room to the other safely, like a small pathway. The catch: The radar cannot tell you what is on the other side of the vent door, and you just have to rely on audio cues to know the best time to come out of the vent.

My concept Hard mode: limit amount of shot player can get to 250 times , now you feet is big ass , killer can hear it if close enough , increase repair time to 50% , now hide away from killer cause click time event (cuz why not) , fail will cause you die , take a shot can alarm killer to your position, you now can sprint (yay) but killer can too (oh) as well as give both a stamina bar , killer have 10% more stamina than player , some bear trap around , step on them make you cant sprint for while and lose some hp , killer footstep is louder , so you don't have to use camera too much

maybe a objective where you have to find a key to open up a outdoor area, which starts a new level but instead of generators its lighting up those lanterns that are placed on the wall with lighters that can be used only once, when you do that there is a small area around that lantern that lets you see the position of the killer. once you turn on all the lanterns you unlock something in the house et cetera

Ideas to piss people off CAMERA LIMIT there's a limit of pictures you can take around 10, and you can find them around the building in packets of five THE MONKEY MAN an entity that moves very freaking slow like 10 blocks a minute but if he is close to you on the other side of the wall he will jump over the wall PASSWORDS To access different parts of the map you need passwords you can find someplace else but if you search up the passwords SQUARE comes out and kicks you, and you die :) RATS Rats bite the camera (that takes pictures) and you either go without or find a new one which will be hard Im cooking chat

add a Hard Mode, where using your polaroid camera consumes batteries. You can find batteries scattered around the map by searching or looting through areas. You can't use it without batteries meaning you need to use them sparingly
