My son, while listening in when I was watching this video... Son: 'How come that in some countries, some people are very rich, and others are very poor?' I: 'Well, do you want to give your money to other people?' Son: 'No.' I: 'There you go.' Yes, it's disturbing to see, and I don't see a quick way out for Pakistan. High birth rates, high illiteracy, volatile politics, and a generally unstable part of the world. You can easily find friendly people everywhere, and still it may not be a good idea to go, as exemplified by the constant police presence.

That lad in the dining car looks and sounds a lot younger than 18. As a civil engineer in the British rail industry, it's surprising, and also heart warming, to see how much old technology remains on the Pakistani railway, from semaphore signals to manually controlled switches and crossings. They're nearly extinct in the UK now, save for a few of the older lines. This journey looks wonderful and the people are warm and hospitable. It's such a pity that you needed a police escort, but he is a warm and hospitable man too. Thank you for uploading this journey.

It's bad that you can't get the exact seat , because like Airplane ✈️ you are not sure about your seat even tho you kinda booked it , similar with Indian trains because someone maybe also wants that seat or they need that seat for some reason. And they always provide information through website, app or message or email not like your beloved Pakistan where everything is Manuel. 13:36 that's doesn't consider ad poverty thi still but it's not specially for South and Southeast Asian countries.

In First AC coaches in India, you cannot choose what you get. It is silly but the current system mandates it. Charting (seat allotment) is done manually and it gives priority to for bookings with 4 people to get cabin and bookings with two people get coupe. VIPs (highly placed government officials) are given preference in getting what they want and rest tickets are with odd number of passengers are then adjusted. Allotment in all other classes is automatic based on fixed criteria

Excellent vlog brotha I salute your bravery to visit a country like Pakistan. All I can say whatever this country is going through since that past 5/7 years are the repercussions of its own actions. Terrorism and Religious extremism are two main reasons for downfall of this country, I hardly doubt there is any future when it comes to railways or any future infrastructure projects in this country as these people believe in investing more in army / weaponry rather than feeding the 55% below poverty line population. Mind your language dear. It's not India's silly booking system. In India trains are in full demand and every seat counts. In Pakistan, AC business class almost runs empty and they would be more than happy and consider themselves lucky that an entire room is being booked. Hence they can throw discounts to any level. It's better to earn something than to run empty.
