Rose 100% deserves a spot in the Hall. Very few players can suffer as much as he did and still carve out a long and impactful career.

Something what? He was an average or worse defender. He had zero seasons with 30+ PPG or 8+ APG. Yes, he was a very very good offensive player, with charisma and flashy moves, but far away from the "biggest what if" category. There are players with better career stats than his prime averages.

I remember playing 2k11 with my cousin. I don't remember who he played with. But I scored more than 60 points with D-Rose while his whole team only had like 20. I spammed the heck out of the spin move and once that animation started, there was no stopping it. I used to spam D-Rose in 2k11 so much so that I was in the top 11 in their biweekly online ranking. Spin, spin, dunk! :D What's more incredible is that D-Rose was not far off those combos in real life. He was truly a treasure to witness. I miss that era 😢

This might have something to do with it... even if you weren't dominating.. thinking he'd probably lose that if he stopped. He was also unlikely to get paid from playing after those injuries unfortunately Rose debuted his first signature sneaker, the Adidas Adizero Rose 1, in 2011, the same year he was named the NBA‘s MVP at just 22 years old for a record that still stands today. A year later, him and Adidas locked down a reported 14-year, $185 million extension that’s kept him well-paid

I watched 77 of the 82 games that MVP year. I was captivated by it. I wore D rose adidas to the gym. Im 33 now and dont idolize many humans, never really have, but those few years felt special. Like we had a chance. I wish things took a different turn and he never got injured. Maybe we win 5 chips. Maybe 0. Either way, im happy to have witnessed prime Derrick Rose in Chicago as a young adult.

It's fire to see all these moments again, but knowing how his career went vs what it had the potential to be, TOUGH! Incredible player, incredible work on the video. We got absolutely robbed of greatness. He didnt just have the the ability too... he had the leadership qualities to truly be a star. As a Bulls fan I remember saying, loudly, if they pick Beasley Im done with the franchise forever. I was ready to die on that hill. I was right. Im probably biased but I still think he's the most explosive player of my generation. His speed and ups were like a freakin alien.

I hate watching derrick rose videos cuz it reminds me how much all of us in Chicago wanted him to succeed. I love Derrick so much. The impact and power he had on the city will never be able to be explained through words. I love Derrick Rose
