@@Grivehn all 3 that you list die very later like about 50 beastmen die when they walk near a lord same for nakai actually its about the shitty horde lords but definitely not those 3 unless you are the player and aim to kill them but in that case even a major faction like hexoatl can be included (you did include a major faction like grom) both nakai and b*astmen lords die every fucking time not lasting even a little the longest i saw nakai surviving was turn early something 100 and counting when i was playing co op with my friend and he survived only because itza just stomped everything i got to witness nakai besieging last settlement of skryre which made me laugh like a mad man we won the siege but he ran then i had to leave lustria because every faction on that cursed land declared war on me the moment they saw me after i saved skryre by confederating them man i swear lustria is hell and that plays a role in nakais very early death (usually dies to khalida or the minor skaven faction most of the time this only changes when itza rolls through everything such as this campaign i had) but beastmen unlike nakai have literally no allies and every one hates them being a horde faction the moment their lord dies its all over this is the reason why you see faction destroyed beastmen notification popping on your screen in about turn 10-20 (minor exceptions such as skryre helping them occurs very rarely but even so they never last untill turn 30 because they get the very brilliant idea of walking into bretonnian or wood elven land most of the time i see them dying to torgovann IF they last that long to reach there)

@@elvastan I'm late but to add to this. The breyherd mechanic is gone, it was a shitty waagh army that gave away your ambush location cuz it follow you around. The units even giants get recruited in 1 turn, to balance it, units have caps, that u can increase by spending their own currency, Dread. The moon event that used to dick you in the dick, now are all boons that are hard to pick which is the best, from growth to campaign movement and more. They got one of the best if not THE best "feel" good playing in WH2. And if u wanna have a fucking OP time, take Big Daddy Bull.

But not Khazrak, for he had found someone with whom he could share a bond; Boris Todbringer was his name. Boris wasn’t merely a rival with which Khazrak could put his skills to the test, but rather, someone in whom he could see himself, and more importantly, someone who could see him for who he really was. Khazrak knew however, that his love could never be requited. Boris was a man, and Khazrak was a beast; Boris had a kingdom, responsibilities, friends, even a family. Khazrak only had Boris. Khazrak spent much of his life vying for his beloved’s attention through battle, until the final day where he was struck down by the one whom he cherished most. The Beastmen are cursed by their very nature to be unwanted by all, even from the moment of their birth. Each one fated to die unseen, unloved, and in a certain sense, alone. But not Khazrak, for he was with Boris, who did see him, and who did love him (though he could never admit it). Thus allowing Khazrak to defy the cruel fate imposed on him and his race. My only wish for the last warhammer 2 dlc is that CA can be to the Beastmen faction, what Boris was to Khazrak.

@@codybonds One Cheese-ish way of doing it is continually putting your forces into Ambush with your main army, then raiding within the ambush zone with a Lord-only second army. This works for other factions too obviously, but it's really exceptionally good for Beastmen and Horde Factions. The best thing for beastie boys is to use Minos, as most other shit is just SO bad, as I'm sure you've noticed. Gor and Ungor lose to peasants and skaven slaves if given the chance lol. Also, the Chariot for Khazrak isn't optimal, but it is funny to see him riding a cart with what could potentially be his mates driving it.

Utilize bestigors with their -95% upkeep trick and when you get a second herd make that lord entirely red path and give him some of your bestigors from time to time. I use khazrak and queek as recruiters and let others die for me.

I really love the beastmen as a faction in the lore. I managed to play through and complete a Khazrak mortal realms campaign in total war 2 and felt embarrassed when I saw about 1-2% of the entire player base had the steam achievement for it. They really need that rework. really hope they do right by them, but the cynical side of me can’t help but notice that the most likely time for their rework and dlc will be so short before the release of the new game that it might end up being overshadowed or half assed.

I know that Beastmen suck in-game on the tabletop and for Total War, however their aesthetic always called out to me and the fact that they can be anywhere, looking like anything also called out to me. Another great noobs guide! Hopefully this hammers home the point to CA that the beast men need some love. I remember when I first got the game, I bought call of the beastmen at the same time because I was so excited to try out their play style.... needless to say, I was very disappointed. And this was my first total Warhammer campaign! I’d like to say I learned my lesson at that point, but after I got frustrated and started something new, I then proceeded to play warriors of chaos and Orks as my next two campaigns. At least empire was always fun, even if it wasn’t perfect

Kinda surprised you didn't mention how the beastmen are just the broo from glorantha. GW would literally just take the old broo models they were selling at the time and repackage them as their own. Sometimes I think the reason the beastmen get so little love from their creators is because they dont want to remind people (or themselves) they did that.
