How does the the dolphing dive from cannon work? does the equiping the fishing rod then weapon have something to do with it?

So you go up to a cannon, cast the rod and hold it don't release, get in the cannon and right before you get in the cannon put the fishing rod away while it's still pulled back. You'll know you've done it correctly when you see your guy cast the fishing rod while you are in the cannon. It's called a crud launch. It is a glitch, you won't be banned foe in but in a few weeks they'll probably patch it, if you wait a day or 2 after the patch and look up crud launch on yt you'll find a new method.

crudlaunch still works. you stow the rod when the climb into cannon radial is filled, then unstow restow midair. search crudlaunch 3.0
