Disabled when enemy creep/catapult enters within 1500 range Enabled after 15sec when no enemy creep/catapult is in range Does not activate when taking damage from friendly units Reduces damage by 25% (75% on illusions) Regeneration of lost health is 90HP/s Regeneration can withstand 240dps without the armor calculated Tier 1 no protection Tier 2 work independent from each other Tier 3 and all other base buldings lose protection if 1 of those buildings lost protection Basically if you deal more than 240 dps (Like the Arc Warden in this case after damage reduction) then you will out damage the healing that the tower does. That's also why other popular high damage heroes like Tiny (Ultimate) or Lycan (Wolves + Necro + AC) also deal more damage than backdoor protection late game. (It might be different than 240 , I'm merely taking what I read there , however the idea still stays the same)

Francois Blom Ok understand, he had no creeps near him but he had huge dmg so creeps are not important. But do u feel that it is fair? I think the lion knew abuout this but he was just mad because of that system. I feel like backdoor really need to be more strict, so there is no any way that u can go through it.

BoJaN87M Backdoor protection is quite strict already. The mere fact that the hero requires 2 divine rapiers to get through it is evident enough. I feel if they make it any more difficult it would entirely ruin the concept of base racing and epic comebacks.I feel the real thing that should be fixed instead is Arc Warden as a hero itself.

+Bayu Purwadi The main reason is that if he were to drop it he wouldn't be able to do it again and would have to re-buy refresher. The other reason is because the item itself becomes worthless to his allied team because it would be muted seeing as it hasn't been picked up by the enemy team. So it's essentially 6200 x3 = 18600 gold on the ground that the enemy team cannot use until the Arc warden re-spawns. The other reason is that he required all of his other items and Rapier wouldn't have helped him in any way really. He needed Skadi to tank , he almost died when Weaver and Arc attacked him , and wouldn't have survived if he didn't have it. Manta to help kill him in fountain because illusions also dealt Desolate extra damage. Refresher to keep killing Arc so that he couldn't spawn illusions because when the Arc had team mates near him the desolate damage didn't kick in. Butterfly for evasion from enemy fountain as well as damage from it because when Weaver and Arc Warden, MKB to hit Arc while in his magnetic field. Boot's of travel because the enemy team had gotten Mega creeps at that stage and he wouldn't be able to push without Haunt up without risking having to run back to defend base against an Arc with illusion with 3 divine rapiers and double necro books. Hex also helped kill him so that he wouldn't be able to cast any spells during the duration the hex duration if he got it off before Arc's BKB. If he dropped either of his items he wouldn't have been as flexible in what the plays he could do , and would have been stuck with an item that he doesn't really need , as well as risk feeding it back to the enemy team so that Weaver/Ember or anyone else could pick it up because it wouldn't be a "original rapier" anymore and would instead have been a free rapier. (Which would have helped them because the Arc was useless and getting killed constantly at this stage). The only positive thing from taking it and feeding it back would have been that Arc Warden wouldn't have been able to put the Rapier back in stash (I assume seeing that it isn't drop-able though I haven't tested it) , however having the enemy Weaver/Ember with a rapier as well as an Arc which really didn't care about buying new Rapiers (Seeing his huge amount of gold) would have been worse.

MAYBE because rapier that you get from enemy(or the one that enemy has ever touched for that matter) can't be dropped and then he has no more slot for skadi. You can argue that rapier may be better but the real goal there is just to kill arc warden and he would have to carry at least take 2 rapiers with him to deal some economic damage to arc since 1 rapier is not that hard to farm anyway and that will make him weaker OR maybe he just want to gtfo and I'm speculating too much

Blue Scout You mean 7:17? He hex Ember, and Chen TP back to help also. Arc have like 0.5 second to BKB react to Haunt+Hex The Haunt fountain dive plan didn't come up much later in the game so the Hex is to prevent Ember to make a jump on the his team.
