My guess is that mesmmer was the one to kill all the fire giants before getting imprisones in the shadow realm and after killing those fire giants, he used their flame to forge these golems. This is a guess tho so yea we can never be too sure

@@XVSvideoz it's a good one, my huge problem with the lore is, either everyone in the lands between and foreign lands is choosing to ignore the fact Messmer exists, or someone/something made everyone forget about him. Because assuming Messmer was helping in the war against the giants, that would mean Godfrey knew about him too. Also Rellana, Ranni's aunt, went to support Messmer, either she was very young and already a skilled sorcerer and warrior, or everyone from Caria knew about Messer too, which is weird considering no one ever mentions him, but the thing to consider is that Radagon was messing with the Carians by marrying Rennala. The other thing I'd love to learn about the lore is the fact a talisman depicting Bayle the Dread mentions he challenged Placidusax, and the battle left them both gravely injured, which explains why both are missing parts of their bodies, but then, did Farum exist in the land of shadow? Why are there so many ancient dragons there too? There's something obviously that I'm ignoring about the story of how the lands between and the land of shadow were physically connected

Malenia vs Furnace Golem gave that hopeless feeling, where you see the most powerful villain you know, fighting another adversary you don’t know and slowly losing. You have the relief of the original villain dying, but the anxiety that the new one is way more powerful than what you’ve faced before. Very epic fight, especially with the music. Only chance she has was spamming waterfowl, and even that wasn’t enough in the battle of attrition

Malenia get a rot proc, but when the golem flames up, it cleans it- gone. this guy is so op, he can't be staggered or stunned. all of his attacks are in the 3k range, and they're widespread attacks. good thing we have fire pots. good video !

Placi will lose most likely as Bayle is way more aggressive. For it to be anything like their Lore version, Placi's aggression needs to be ramped up a notch

Bayle fights a lot like Midir but even more agro. Placi's attack mechanics are just not suited for that, he'd keep getting his poise broken.

In the lore Placidusax would be considered the winner by a narrow margin. Both were badly wounded, but Placi kept his title and throne. In game, because of how the DLC is scaled, it would be stacked against him pretty hard.

One thing you notice with these videos is that the movesets and skills on almost all the bosses mostly the bigger ones are made to be aimed at a smaller target, ie the player with a lot of ground aoe strikes or grabs that do little or nothing to anything bigger than them

The real problem is they all target the center of the furnace instead of its legs, making most of their attacks miss as they go between both legs.

It's not really designed for fights like this. It's designed to be fought by the player, it's crit modifier is absurdly ridiculously high. You usually do 40K+ damage on a critical hit of these things

He's weak gimmick boss though, he's like Yhorm The Giant from DS3, you have to specifically do certain thing to damage him significantly, otherwise it's just a sponge, there is no boss in the game like that but the guardian golems mini bosses.

Bosses that dodge your attacks stupidly face-tank boss attacks. We just saw the laser golem pointlessly stab at the ground 30 feet away from its enemy.
