How it works Code Assist is an AI assistant in Studio Script Editor that suggests lines or functions of code as you type, helping you code more efficiently and stay focused. Based on contexts from your comment and code, AI suggestions will be triggered in two ways: Automatically when you pause on a line for a few seconds or when the AI model gets enough context for a suggestion. Manually with hotkey (this can be customized through File > Advanced > Customize Shortcuts). Alt + \ (Windows) ⌥ + \ (MacOS) Currently, you need to have a few lines of code to trigger a suggestion. To accept the suggestion, press Tab , and then you can edit just as editing your own code. To ignore it, keep typing. ========================================================== **WHY IS MY AI (CODE COMPLETION) NOT WORKING?!?!?!** 1. The AI is in beta. It may break, give incorrect code or do nothing at all. Keep this in mind! This is the #1 reason it doesn't work all the time. I can safely assume that high demand also stops the AI from helping you with your code. 2. You don't have previous code in your script. The AI learns from public assets on ROBLOX such as marketplace and toolbox, but I do think it also needs some code already to work. (see screenshot: ) In the screenshot you can see that my AI works because my script already has some code. Try this! 3. You didn't turn on AI Code Completion in Beta Features. To solve this: Go to studio -> file -> beta features -> tick AI code completion -> agree to terms (if there are any) -> restart -> done! 😄 Again, the AI is in beta and will improve overtime.
