It also takes other weird items like polymer and organic polymer, corrupted nodules, and absorbent substrate since I tried raising one my self and I kept getting screwed over for stuff like those. Edit: It also takes congealed gas balls

What the actual heck I don’t think you can even get corrupted nodules or congealed gas balls on the island or lost island which are the only two maps this thing even spawns on

@@greenninjaihyt5461 It happened to me when giving cravings to my Carcha and it wanted those two at one point and I just gave up on giving the cravings. Gas Balls can be obtained on pretty much every map except The Island, Scorched, The Center, and Ragnarok. Corrupted Nodules can only be obtained on Extinction so that’s a huge hassle.

A good tip when you are doing this have a Fjordhawk on your shoulder since it will spot from yellow to red on its level of health down when you shoot or damage it.

It just needs to be under 10% of its max health, of course 100 will do it - but that can a tad riskier with a higher chance of accidentally killing it. Oh, in case you have a decent saddle on your sacrificed tame - don't forget to retrieve it.

Absolutely enjoy my lvl 400 bug with my 738lvl giga line that has 115 egg stats in all 4 main stats! I also used dragons as my sacrifice they don’t have the highest drag weight but the mutated lvl650 ember crystal 112 on 4 main egg stats is a flyer so I tried to get flyer stats on it just for scientific purposes and it worked really well!

you dont need to get the rhynio that far down in health when taming it...10 % of its max health is just fine, ive tamed a few, and it worked like a charm

Yea I've seen so many people say 100 health but that's because of early testers using level 1 creatures to 10% of their health was like 120 health or soemthing

In the selection you also need absorbant, droped by tusos or buieble in the hlna store, and they also tend at the kibble category to only ask for superior, exceptional and extraordinary(purple,yellow cyan) from 20 ryhno tries

@@rx4_ever886 the S+ mod has an item called the propagator, which is able to breed normally unbreedable Dino’s. They’ll be in custom eggs if no egg is available and it keeps track of mutations for you, so if you get a Rhynio from a max mutated giga or carcha, you could then clone it and breed them together (the propagator also lets you swap gender) then you could mutate those.

Awesome and very educational as always but I noticed a small mistake you made. In the part where you explained which stats would be useful to mutate for the host you mentioned torpor. Thing is torpor is not a stat and it cannot be mutated. Torpor is defined by the base lvl of your creature. I think this myth is still a leftover from when you had no way of knowing the exact points that went into a stat after a mutation. Basically when you got a mutation but nothing but the torpor changed people just assumed it was a torpor mutation when it was infact a speed mutation.

Only problem is you are not doing this on official... you did not show what would happen when you use low hp high lvl tames such as a spino for example at 7k hp ? Do you forcefeed it to heal it during the 8 hour incubation ? What are you supposed to do ?

How are you guys able to find many Rhyniognathas? Do you wipe all the dinos in the swamp until a Rhyniognatha spawns or keep using the command "destroywilddinos" until you find a Rhyniognatha?
