I broke down and bought the LSBs on my FTP alt account to get GAS and had forgotten how much of a pain this event was. Thanks for the refresher, it helped a ton to get GAS unlocked with minimal frustration. Albeit with a depleted resource reserve lol. Thanks man, cheers!

You will eventually farm to GAS (General Skywalker) so it can still help you in the long-term

Yeah, your guild will love you, your bugs will love you, and your fleet will love you. Plus, you'd be even closer to getting a 7 star capital ship and getting those sweet, sweet zetas! Keep in mind, before you hit level 85 as a player, it's about a 4-6 month journey free to play, so it's important to find small milestones and ways to have fun all while farming for those fun events you can do once you hit 85!

what was your setup for tier 4? I used all my current zeta mats and I am trying to minimize the mats needed for tier 4. Never thought I would have to zeta out just to beat a journey guide

I have not done tier 4 yet, but I can confirm that tier 2 is possible with only the 2 zetas on Padme and the zeta on Ahsoka, just completed it with some luck and good modding, making sure turn order was right was a big one for the early part

@@NOOCH2GUD was still very much RNG reliant, the run I beat it on had 0 deaths and up to that point I never got to just GG out with more than 2 people. The Ahsoka zeta was the thing I needed the most (good to note that my GK was R5, while padme and 3po were g12)

I literally only used the 2 zetas on padme and thats it for that battle and I modded every super fast and I had to do it a fair few times with rng and luck but it worked

@@tb8766 stoked that that worked for you, i probably could have done it without the ahsoka zeta but the closest i got was B1 and GG left against only one of my team and they got melted, took i think 3 attemptes after the ahsoka zeta

I unlocked GAS just hours ago. Not going to build him until i'm done Malgus/Ben Solo and finish JML requirements (2 left) i have time to get him to 7 star until then. Then i will circle back to GAS and start building 501st

I just did the light side mission with only Ahsoka tano zeta after the LS bundle, and the DS with only b1. takes a few retries and good mods, but you certainly can try for free before putting on each zeta

I just finished the GAS event. There was a lot of RNG with Phase 2, but I only needed the two Padme Zetas and Ashoka’s for buff dispel. For Phase 4, while I know it’s possible to do without Zetas my mods were not good enough for all of them. I needed the B1 zeta and I zeta’d Droideka though I felt I didnt need that one.

I completed phase 2 with all R5 and c3p0 g12. The leadership zeta on Padme only, zeta on Shak ti for retribution, zeta on snips, and zeta on c3p0 oh my goodness.

hey nooch long time no see , i've just started a hyperdrive account this morning and bought the 3po gas and geo bundle got 3po unlocked with no zeta was still RNG madness but got him 7* and i'm currently working on my gas event with a g12 padme and a g11 3po i am prepared for a lot of head banging tonight lol as i aim to unlock gas today

Just did the GAS event with g12 padme with 2 zetas and a zeta on ahsoka and c3p0 but I don't think the c3p0 one was very necessary. Basically the important thing is get very fast tanky characters, use c3p0s basic to reset cooldowns and padme and spam padmes protection up ability, and put the crit immunity and taunt on GK. I messed up for the first 4 times but on the 5th time I played it well and it was very easy.

I got the GAS pack and just did the event, i used a gear 12 padme, i didnt have the zeta on her leader or on gk, however i did have really strong mods so that probably made the difference. You need to have droideka fast because he'll most likely be the last alive so you don't want him slower than GAS, i didnt have a zeta on b2 and i modded him for health/protection because hes just there to get extra turns so he needs to live as long as possible. i did p2 first try and p4 on my third try, you just need good rng on the opening plau

I got it done with g11 padme with both zetas on, aside from that I did not put any zetas on any other character (for stage 2). However, I got some great mods to put on my character, and it’s a massive pain took me plenty of times

@@vrbty I think it's the speed you need, magna's have like 269 so most of your team need to be 270 plus. Ideally need to get b2 out before magna gets any turns. It's doable without any G13 characters as well. just need high speed/health and the right zetas

Got phase 2 done with no zeta at all hahaha. Phase 4 done with one zeta on B1 and that's it, and it only took me about 7-8 tries. Tho my mods were really good, so not everyone will get that result I imagine.

Bought the negotiator bundle but I'm not even bothering to get gas right now. I just unlocked Rey, jkl, Malak and my Padme and greivous are only g12. I've got so much to build that I'm just going to shelve the gas unlock until I work through the list. Hopefully by time my Malak is 7* I'll be ready to get gas.

Not sure if they will return or not. I kind of doubt that we will see the shadows bundle anytime soon. It's was mostly there as a function of the Endor raid. I think they will want to push these new packs to encourage us to build for the new raid and unlocking jar jar.

Love how everyone making "easy" guides for this basically has an unending supply of God Mods and has all these characters on R5... Oh and the best one! "If Echo does the AoE, restart". He effing does that 99% of the time!!! Based on all these guides I should breeze through this event on auto and yet I've had to restart dozens of times already because the "RNG" does the exact same thing 99% of the time. They completely ignore Magna and focus down B1 almost exclusively, no matter how high the stats for Droideka are he almost never assists and that AoE goes flying before GAS even finishes his cover animation for the first time. This is by far one of the worst battles in this game...

Is it just me, or is anyone else that is in a fleet shard less than 6 months in, finding this bundle causing major chaos in the top 10 of their shard, and is it just me or does this fleet, without marauder, mixed with the bounty hunter ships cause way more timeouts? I spent the last 2 months catching up to an Endurance with Anakin, Ahsoka, Hounds tooth, reinforced with Plo, that had held 1st pretty much all through January and February. By March I'd built a fleet that could beat him here and there, and by April could beat him consistently with Finalizer or Chimera. Now they release this, putting him another month or 2 ahead of everyone that worked so hard to get to a level we could compete for first. Either he's just lucky he loves Galactic Republic ships or dudes clairvoyant, now he has this negotiator to lead his fleet and used the double drops to get Marauder and BTLB to 6* and add to his fleet and everyone else seems to have been pushed back another month or 2. Frustrating the way CG took all that progress I'd made and flushed it down a toilet that is gonna take me another 2 months to dig out of. I can still get 2nd for now, but this bundle put 1st way out of reach in no time flat.
