Congrats on Kyber!!! I’m in Chromium 4 at 4.8GP. I have no idea how to counter any ships without my executor 😂 so I’m planning to get profundity after SLKR (which I’m about 3-6 months away 😢).

I punched up pretty consistently until I mved divisions. My account is pretty new, but I definitely got to the point where I was annihilating everyone in Carbonite, even people with double and sometimes triple my GP. Unfortunately, my happiness for being promoted to Bronzium was almost immediately crushed when I realized, in a matter of a day, I went from having to have 3-4 decent teams for offense and defense to need 8 for each, taking my total of bare minimum necessary teams from 8 to 16. When you are JUST BARELY filling in your roster requirements, erven if you are successful, you're kind of doomed, on average, when you suddenly go from having all of the necessary teams to haveing HALF of the necessary teams. Granted, the exception to this is establishing your very first teams as god-tier teams... imagine having a 2M GP roster, or sub 2M GP roster, and one of the first teams you rushed was traya omicron w/ Savage omicron. Yeah, to some extent, that could lessen the teams you need, because there's a chance you could slap that on a front wall and put absolute trash on a back wall because you know your opponent probably won't get through it. This is exactly how I "punched up" and got through carbonite so easily... I didn't "actually" need 4 teams on defense, because I tried to make sure my two teams on the front wall were unbeatable by most players in that division. But, like I said, as soon as I got to bronzium, I was simply being out-rostered by almost everyone. Even with fantastic teams on my front walls, my opponents usually had the luxury of being able to throw multiple teams at them and being able to eventually clear the zones, whereas I still had to make perfect plays to clear their zones. I do think there's a sweet spot for moving between divisions. You're inevitably going to get to a point where your roster simply doesn't cut it againast other players who know what they're doing. But I suppose you can always rely on cheese strats like putting nothing but a god-tier Executor fleet on defense on hoping your opponents simply can't beat it while sending the entire rest of your roster on offense.

I put my malgus on the bottom wall on defense too, and yeah it even caused a Win for me against a 8mil Account too (I have 4.6mil now) And my Aphra is a GL killer in 5v5, so even without a GL, i still have a chance, but usually i lose those matchups against 6mil+ Accounts (or 2+ GLs accounts in general.) I Lose Ships anyway, cuz i don't even have a good fleet (my best fleet is Sith Empire Thrawn). So it all depends how much my Malgus Holds. And thx to Malgus i'm back in Chromium too now. EDIT: Gotta take advantage of Malgus now, before Jedi Cal Becomes more n' More Common... 😒

I've had 2 GLs since like 3.8 million GP. Put them both on defense and been Chromium 1-2 since.

Indeed it goes from bad to worse… but you can upset higher GP accounts, just maximize banners and you may beat 4M players

@@cheekylemon9441 really wasn’t, I had imperial troopers geos bounty hunters and Vader I still have a video somewhere of when I was 1.5mil and the lowest guy in my whole round was 5 million if I remember correctly

I just got out of carbonite at 1.7m first ever account Had to beat guys with 5m+ multiple occasions and I'm pretty much guaranteed to be fighting guys with at least 500k more than me I did it by putting traya savage omicron in front of my ships so they simple just cannot get through that side + Darth revan Malak team on the other front line which trips people up consistently enough

i'm in chromium 2 with 3.4 million GP and I just got my first GL, all my opponents have many reliced teams, 4+ GLs and are putting a GL on defence for both the top and bottom zones while still defeating 3 or more zones. I'm not sure if it is even possible to win against these people.
