I’m in the same spot as you, we’re both throwing nose up. HIGHLY recommend slowing down and fixing your form and getting consistent before you speed up/ add a run up. I slowed down and fixed a few things and I started throwing 350-400 in a stand still when I was throwing 280-320 in a run up. I’m throwing my lightweight 166g otb open hex about 450 right now and I started throwing 8-9 speed drivers to meet me where I’m at. I got rid of all my higher speed discs so I can be comfortable and improve so I can get to those 11-12 speed drivers

This year I got over my ego and took out all of my distance drivers. My fastest disc is now a brave and crave and wow it has made such a difference in my game. I have easily scored 4-6 strokes better each game. Plus since my confidence is up I have noticed that my arm speed has now increased. I would recommend that if a 8 speed goes the same as a 11 speed, just take it out.

I just recently learned the 35 rule. Divide your distance in feet by 35 and you have the max speed you should be throwing. For me it’s pretty spot on.

It’s not about the speed of the disc, you can throw what ever speed you want, and the faster disc will generally fly further. Stability is the difference between a halo destroyer going 250 feet vs a river going 300. Throwing a hades the same way should go farther than that river.

Nose angle is a killer tho, slow speed discs will always fly farther if you have nose angle issues

If u hand someone who has never thrown a disc before a hades and a crave. They will throw the crave further even though the hades is twice the speed bud

it really is just about how stable a disc is, there are really fast understable discs that will definitely fly further except if you're a total beginner then even a roadrunner will hyzer.

No offense but you throwing pretty nose up my man. That is why your disc are going nearly the same distance. That is also why the understable disc won't hold the turn even when you put it on a slight anhyzer. Your arm speed may be low, but if you get that nose down those disc, especially that wave, will turn and hold it
