I love how you do all of your reviews. We’ll thought out opinions, no fluff, cut right to the chase. Love your face sweater too! Wish I could get one like that!

That pen, with that nib and ebonite feed, look like a pretty nice writer to me! And, I personally love that it posts securely and deeply. Thanks for sharing ... cheers!

Sometimes it is just some completely illogical reason a pen doesn't;t work for someone but a different pen does. There may not be any GOOD reason for it. lol

I would agree. I tend more towards the Ahab.

Funny isn't it, since they both have the same nib and feed when you buy them... but I find the Ahab just much better for me.

I haven’t used all the models of Noodler’s pens, but I really enjoy my Ahab with the Noodler’s flex steel nib. I have heard reports of a range of experiences with Noodler’s pens. Perhaps I was lucky because my Ahab was smooth and flexible, pleasingly sensitive to pressure, from the start about 5 years ago and I have no complaints. It’s a quietly attractive translucent brown, and it feels good in my hand. Right now it’s within reach, inked up with Monteverde Brown Sugar and ready to go.

I love hearing how other people enjoy their Ahab pen, I think if you enjoy that then there can be no need to try the Konrad. The nib and feed are the same.

A clear Noodler's Konrad was one of my first pens, and I have an 1820 Essex Konrad; love the color design on that one. I've found them to be pretty finicky regarding nib & feed placement, and they're not very comfortable for my hand, so I don't use them very often. I like my Nib Creaper and Charlie pen better, and I like my Ahab best of my Noodler's pens. Thanks for your review!

Thanks for sharing! Sometimes, as in often, there is a need to fiddle with the nib and feed to get them to write perfectly but that doesn't;t bother me personally.

A large number of turns suggests the manufacturer wanted the pen not to dry quickly when closed, but there are other means to achieve that, like having an inner cap, so the design of this pen may be flawed.

True...

I can see why.. sometimes a product is good and there is nothing wrong with it but it does not connect with you, which is perfectly fine as not everything is for everyone.

Probably why they make so many fountain pens, lol. This one just doesn't do it for me, even though it is a great pen.

People who use fountain pens should be used to this

I missed stone paper. I’m kind of glad since it sounds like it was a fad that petered out

You should be happy. It was not any good. AT ALL, lol

Noodlers pens do seem to be a pen for the inky fingered tinkerer. Luckily i am one of them.

So am I... they are great ways to learn a ton about pens.

I have one of this. It’s too light for me and doesn’t feel right in hand. Also, it smells.
@foreverqihe Жыл бұрын
And the plastic feels cheap… The corners should be rounded to make it comfortable to touch.
@AnInkGuy Жыл бұрын
The smell doesn't bother me... but I agree the edges could or should be rounded down.
