Ngọc is such a well mannered girl. She puts her hands together and does the quick head-bob curtsey when speaking to an older person. They might be poor, but her parents taught her right. I hope to see more videos of Ngọc and her three sisters.

I think you will need to micromanage her if you expect the exact desired results. It's like the boss expecting the clerk to manage the branch office.

Once again we meet THE TRANSPORTER. I bet he learned his trade transporting vital supplies down the Ho Chi Minh trail, stealthy avoiding enemy patrols, but not afraid to battle it out on the rare occasion that they detected him! The USA has John Rambo and Vietnam has THE TRANSPORTER.

Give the lady time and explain to her the aim of providing healthy food, e.g. packets of milk or soy milk instead of soft drinks, no cans but sachets etc. May be also ask the boat people what the would like, e.g. canned tuna or sardines in tomato sauce. Also ask them what kind of fresh veggies they would like. Ok a few candies for the kids don't do any harm as long as they are vitamine, sage or coughing candies. Children also must enjoy when the food truck is coming. For them, instant noodles are not really a highlight. It must not be a whole candy packet but 2 - 3 candies for each kid will do it. Just my thoughts.

Mans, doing charity is tough and even tougher to have someone who is both capable and trustworthy. I'm not sure what to say except I really do think she's doing her best. But I just think it could be a generational thing. Shes older, easily forgets things and conducts herself to directly. I really do her heart is in the right place tho since I think she enjoys doing this charity work. I mean i could never imagine myself going somewhere with unsanitary conditions and hot weather but she's out there willining. I guess, just take one a day at time, Troy. Youre good at this and it takes time to train anyone to be as good as you. Worst comes to worse, I guess you could consider finding someone else?
@capsfan8073 жыл бұрын
Janny, you looking for a part time job, you say? 😇😇😇😇🌈🌈🌈 I understand Troy's viewpoint of wanting his partners to distribute healthy items per his 365 degree vision. I like soda, but i know it is sugar water with 0 nutritional value and ideally kids should have it once a year or something. Farm fresh veggies and fruit is best for them, but also perishable. I think we can hire Lingy/Nga/Thuy during the summers and they would do really well, but since they are 16 it will be a few years before they can be full timers. Do we know of anyone else from the channel in their 20's or 30's who would make a good contributor?

@@bertrpk Hm, I don't completely agree with you. I think Troy's aim is to help both adults and children. But the thing is, we as viewers prefer seeing happy children out and about mostly BC it gives us joy and hope. And with adults, sometimes, they are kind of jaded and whatnot so their reactions are not what everyone enjoys viewing. I think both adults and children deserve help but the thing about this helper's videos are they are so different from Troy's videos. Even though he says his Viet is bad, the way he conducts himself is very kind, sincere and respectful of the recipients. And watching him interact with disadvantaged people like Hang, you really feel how warm and respectful he is in the way he speaks to her. But the feeling is not the same as when watching the helper videos and I get it. I personally enjoy the videos that Troy personally films more.

These thoughts are always great to hear. True, the 'everyone makes mistakes'-card gets used a lot not as an apology, but an excuse. And as we know, no consequences means no change of behaviour. Think it's a general problem, nobody feels responsible for their actions - the parents, society etc are always to blame. Might explain to some extent the differences of todays culture compared to 50 years ago.

Hey Troy, Yeah , When doing this type of charity work, getting the goods distributed evenly seems to be done unevenly, some got more than the others, than some got less to which when dealing in small volume is better than a large volume. Has we know an even distribution will feed more hungry people! The old adage of if you want it done right, you have to do it your self is the best strategy! Stalin was easily distracted, and came across that way. Many people are eating better, and that is what matters! I might suggest you may have to be there to train Lan, in order to resolve what she is lacking. To expect an untrained person for the results of a trained person is like night, and day, and will have good results sooner, rather than the same poor results! Peace! Thanks to Lewis Cabo, and Satish Patel for their generous rabbits, you have made a positive impact on the needy!

No one was getting more than the others. When you see a person got 2 packages ... it was because he or she was accepting it on behalf of the absent relatives or neighbors who were not there at the time or out at work. Troy is out there doing amazing work. I truly admire what he does but sometimes I wish he could be less critical on things a bit. I believe that donors give because they want to give, the love of helping the next human being who are not as fortunate, and the feeling or satisfaction of giving is indescribable. When you give don't expect any things in return that is the ultimate in giving. Unless, the donors specified what the gifts were for. Troy has always listed and credited on each of his videos the donors' names and amounts. Isn't that enough? By asking the recipients to thank and mention the donors names repeatedly over and over is way too much. Also, the assistant is doing her best.... if Troy doesn't like or agree with how she does things then replace her. Talk to her in private but don't put her on blast. Always treat others as you want to be treated yourself. LOVE YOU TROY 😍. THE LOVE AND HELPS YOU BROUGHT TO PEOPLE ARE VERY COMMENDABLE AND MUCH TO ADMIRE. ❤💙♥💕

@norbiberman73633 жыл бұрын
Why you didn't do a pricing comparison? In Vietnam, where per capita income is $ 2,000 per person per year, olive oil is considered a food reinforcement, and it is consumed almost as a medicione, ie, a tablespoon a day. Thus, despite the penetration of the product, it fails to account for 1% of the total sales volume of fats and oils, a market dominated mostly by vegetable oils. Olive oil didn't seem to improve your intelligence. For wok cooking, use oils with a high smoke point and low polyunsaturated fat content. Grapeseed oil, peanut oil, etc… Sesame oil and olive oil will burn and taste bitter.
