holy shit. this is incredible. i've been a Good Looking fan since 1996, which predates me becoming a soul jazz organist and a modular synthesiser builder. also i am very proud to have been at LTJ Bukem's 40th birthday party (gig) at Smartbar in Chicago IL USA. i gave him a piece of my work but i have no idea if it was ever of use to him. when i handed him my Post-Lawsuit Lowpass Filter i told him "i want you to know your work has influenced people to do more than just copy you, i am now making instruments." this doc is incredible. the bit with Intense, and Molly Duncan, is something i really neeeded earlier in my life. it's good to finally see this. i'm currently recording a small sound library for an as-yet-unreleased unreleased sampler/sequencer and we are reconstructing all of the primary breaks used by the masters of drum n bass. this has a very good feeling for me. there are people who may, because of my efforts, make new dnb with breaks recorded in my own studio ... and i hope this is a way to give back to the gestalt after benefiting from it for so long. thank you for posting it.

Cheers, nice doc. Not seen this before, used to buy tunes every week from DJ Lee at Basement in Reading, Section 5 in London and Beggars Banquet in Kingston when Dave Jarvis now of Defected worked there. Used to get promos every week from Basement, had Photek, GLR, LGR, Renegade, Metalheadz, Precious materials, Basement, Moving Shadow all the cool labels etc etc still got all my vinyl. Will never get rid. Started off in the late 80s/early 90s going to Shoom, Oakenfold's Spectrum and Nicky Holloway's nights, then gradually in the mid 90s on to Blue note Mtealheadz sunday sessions, Fabio/Bukem's Speed nights. Crazy times for music.
