Go watch Messi`s video where his passes weren`t finished by his teamates, Messi has a very long vide of such passes. If all his passes were scored by his teamates than Messi would be on 500 assists by now.

Bro, I totally understand what you were trying to say about assists…I watched a video showing number of clear assists that Messi provided for his teammates that were missed…I couldn’t even count them…Messi provided tons of assists that were missed by his teammates…I was once a diehard fan of Mourinho and CR7 when they were in Madrid, and for some reason, I fought all my friends who used to tell me that Messi was better than Ronaldo…My opinion on this debate changed after the 5-0 trashing of Madrid by Messi and Barcelona…It was one of the worst days of my life..Media made even more painful by publicly criticizing Mourinho and CR7 during the postgame analysis…Messi was absolutely outstanding..He didn’t even score a goal in that match, but he was awarded the man of the match for that game…Messi dropped deep to receive the ball, dribbled past avalanche of Madrid players, and finished it off with sublime assists and passes..Ronaldo was on the other half of the field throwing hands in the air in anger because they couldn’t get the ball to him…I wanted Ronaldo to do some of the things that Messi was doing during the game but he couldn’t.. I hated CR7 for not doing much in that game…I still respect him for what he’s accomplished in the game, I must admit the bitter truth, Messi is the best player to ever play the game….CR7 is not a better finisher, he just played more games …Messi is better finisher and much more versatile….

Subtracting one CL for Messi is stupid cuz it tells you how he hasn't watched that campaign of Messi. Messi got injured so number of games doesn't matter. Just look at how he played in the minutes that he got now that would set the tone. One example is the Chelsea game in which he was excellent. Also it's two starts, cuz Messi was a substitute back then as he was only growing into the team.
