Although, there is a bit of nepotism as you complained about fashion week being about who you know - yet you are only on this brand trip with M&S because you are friends with Abi???/

When a creator hosts or curates a trip that usually means they also curate the guest list and will invite their peers/friends in the industry. This is beneficial to the brand because they’re able to meet new creators who they wouldn’t usually have met or worked with before. Creator hosted trips are also very rare btw! This was my first one. M&S have hosted many trips before which I had never attended, so this was a great way for me to meet with the brand and develop a relationship with them too. Hope that helps :)

True, although I don’t think she was just referencing nepotism, I think she was speaking to a form of colourism and a lack of diversity found in London fashion week. So I think it’s great that through Abi, M&S Was able to foster organic relationships with more women of colour
