Lydia, more often than not your "thrown together" outfits are fab! It's hard to mess up a look with your taste and knack for selecting quality pieces. I do appreciate your effort to always improve yourself though! I just hope you know that your style is so inspiring to many of us. It is power dressing at its finest. It inspires me to take myself more seriously when I dress rather than always going the ultra feminine/youthful route (nothing wrong with that if that's what you love!). I roll my eyes at all the comments about you aging yourself! Why must we as women always look young - when men are encouraged to do the opposite? Lydia if your interested in building your wardrobe and styling what you own, there are two apps that i HIGHLY recommend called indyx and whering. both of them work as digital wardrobes where you upload what you own and style. it also provides analytics on what you are using which is fascinating! it takes a while to do and i'm sure with your beautiful wardrobe thats probably more time then you want to spend but i have to say i've found it incredibly useful and honestly joyful to use!

I would pair thise laofers with straight legged or tappered ankle length jeans. They are a smart, casual shoe. I would not try to wear them with slacks/trousers.

Lydia, your segment on pre planning your wardrobe is something I have been doing for a long time. Like you I live a very busy life. And my job as a visual merchandiser (stylist) one thing I have to do is ultimately always look out together. I love how you’re working through existing items in your wardrobe. My advice if you’re unsure how to style something but don’t essentially want to buy something new. Look at what colour pallets are trending for the season and work through your wardrobe that way. You’ll still very much be in tune with the season but you won’t have to break the bank buying everything you see on social media 😊😊

You should get an old fashioned like a hotel luggage rack that you can put these outfits on so you can just grab and go for a busy week - my mum used to do this on a Sunday evening - she had a small empty wardrobe in our smallest bedroom (you would call it a dressing room now) and she hung her outfits for the week in there

We saw it very clearly from our farm here in Lewiston Minnesota. They were real red, pink and green. This year we had seen them like 6 time. I am from Puerto Rico and it was on my bucket list to visit Norway (my son in law is from Norway) just to see them. Good for me I don't have to travel that far.

I just wanted to say that though I have always been a yoga and Pilates enthusiast, the work with Barre helps my posture immediately. I have a lot of serious spine issues some of which have required extensive surgery. If the Barre exercises can help me, I would bet that they would help you as well.

You should have a phone folder with all these outfits - like little mini capsule wardrobe outfits. You have aged (as we all have) and your tastes have changed - it’s much more ‘classic’ style not ‘old fashioned’ - some might say it’s old for your young years - but in the 70’s I wore shirts with a frill neckline and cuffs, with a cashmere jumper over it and tweed trousers - the little black dress - these would still be ok today - as would my fitted black tartan dress (shame I can no longer fit into it) there is nothing wrong with the classics my mum always had a silk scarf - she also always had a pair kid leather gloves in each of her 5 handbags - yes she only had 5 in her entire life.

I like the idea of coordinating your outfits. Maybe you could take some pictures of yourself in them and file them on the computer in different folders. Like London, casual days, home wear, feeling sassy, etc. Maybe make a clothing ‘mood board’ with the pictures and hang them on the wall in one of your closets. When you see them you may get different ideas to switch items around or add new ones. 😊❤️ I’d be glad to come over and give a helping hand. ☺️❤️

Schedule your clothes: you could even add the link of your outfit to your agenda with the appointment you have. As for the Northern Light: you can only take photo's with a regular camera, not your phone. I've learned that when I saw the Lights in Iceland 😘

Yes the ivory dress which looks really good on you, but the coat OHhh THAT COAT IS D E L I C O U S •modern design & tailoring •versatile design and fabric and print (with an cashmere knit in ivory or brown , a olive green, burgundy and just a pair of wider leg jeans or suit trousers , a monochrome camel look ,list goes on and on ) or (with evening wear for a daytime event) & everything in-between •timeless bc of the -tailoring -design -print -versatility and for each age from 19y to 89y (Oh & if you're like me and love a bit of mixing prints: stripes , leopard print (warm tone & in similaire size of print. I would go for a super square toe or pointed balletflats or slim sneakers like a Gazelle ,or a belt) Yes I thought this coat a 🤏🏻 bit through, yes I also have an addiction: LONG DELICIOUS COATS & i will not apologize for it 🫡 ✌🏻🍂

I did look into the apps but I feel like pictures are so different to actually wearing the pieces, the length of a white shirt matters to the proportions of an outfit for example and I’m just not convinced pictures are better than them actually styled on me 🫣
