It feels a little decadent but having a nana nap during the middle of the day is a great way to break up a big day.

They always say to avoid driving at sunrise or sunset because all the hoppies are most active then. As the heat of the day sets in they all find shade and chill out. As a general rule anyway. I can't remember if I have suggested this before, but Montville/ Maleny is good for a day trip. Mary Cairnscross is a lovely spot for a rainforest walk and a meal too. Mount Glorious is another walking spot too. It's just west of me here in Nth Bris.

Yeah we had the beams on and drove slower than usual just in case. We will definitely check those out 😃

Doesn't matter if your high beams are on or off. They jump out at the last second and right into the front of your car. You don't want a big roo end up through your windscree.@@teresamikedownunder

If you think Noosa is nice, you should come a little further north up here to Rainbow Beach and Tin Can Bay. You can hand feed wild dolphins every morning at Tin Can Bay and Rainbow Beach is absolutely stunning. Puts Noosa to shame. 😀 Between Tin Can Bay and Rainbow Beach is a freshwater stream called Searys Creek which you can swim in. Also near there is a freshwater perched lake called Poona Lake which is a nice walk and then you can swim in the lake. If you have a 4WD drive you can actually drive all the way to Rainbow Beach from Noosa along the beach.

Where I am, mobs of kangaroos come every evening.Last night we watched from the kitchen window a joey learning to jump. His bouncing was uncontrolled and incredibly amusing.

You could have just gone to the Noosa Habitat office and asked where the trails were - or any of the people staying there.

The office didn’t open until 9am and the people we asked who were around didn’t know as they had just arrived 👍
