I love all your reactions, but Maneskin ones are my favorite for a lot of reasons. One obviously they're one of my favorite artists, probably my favorite band for sure. Two, you love them at least as much as I do, maybe more. And you have been following them from the very beginning of their journey starting from Eurovision AND learned all about the back story and earlier music. Anytime there's new Maneskin, Noosh, you're the first person I come to! 💕💕

This is getting much closer to the music genre of Begging, with some subtle ska influences, and IT SUITS THEM so f'ing well!! Groovy af soft (punk-esque) rock with a punch. Loving this single. One of my all-time favourites of Maneskin for sure.

They are beyond standards in terms of quality today. Their music is an Old School Classic Rock crafted with great talent, featuring multiple influences reminiscent of the 80s/90s/00s. All performed live in an truly astonishing manner!" "A little bit" of their story: The Warning are 3 sisters from Monterey, Mexico. Daniella (Dany) born Jan 30th, 2000, Paulina (Pau) born Feb 5th, 2002, and Alejandra (Ale´) born Dec 13th, 2004 grew up watching and listening to rock and rock concerts with their parents. They started in music early when Dany and Pau were enrolled in music initiation class at ages 5 and 3 respectively. When she was old enough Ale’ learned the same things. They also took classical piano lessons. When Dany was about 7 their dad bought them the video game Rock Band, and everything changed- they fell in love with rock music and performing on stage. When Dany was 8 her dad asked her if she wanted to take up another instrument (along with piano). She chose the guitar. Later Pau chose the drums and Ale´ chose the bass. Ale had only been playing bass (at 7 years old) for about a month when they, as a group, started playing and recording songs. In 2014 when they were 14, 12, and 9 years old they created a video for their grandparents to see how they had progressed in their music. The video was too big to just email so their dad loaded it on KZbin. That video was a cover of Metallica’s Enter Sandman and it went viral. To date it has well over 25 million views and has gotten praise from Metallica and many other notable bands. The girls were completely caught off guard by this and had to make a decision. They quit school and began homeschooling as they got very serious about their music. In 2015 they released an EP called Escape the Mind. It was an exploratory group of eclectic original songs designed to sort out their style. Their Enter Sandman video was also noticed by Ellen DeGeneres, and they made their US TV debut on The Ellen Show in 2015. The girls were trying to raise money to attend the 5-week classes at Berklee College of Music in Boston. Ellen found this out and she (and Target) presented each of the girls with a $10k check to attend those classes. Because Ale´ was only 10 years old she had to get a special exemption to attend. She was in classes with 14 and 15 year old kids. Harmonix, the makers of the Rock Band video game, also noticed the girls and invited them (while in Boston) to come to tour their facilities. While there they got to preview the new soon-to-be-released Rock Band version IV and were completely floored to see that their song Free Falling (from their EP Escape the Mind) was in the game! They started their band because of the Rock Band video game so having their song in the game was amazing to them. In 2016 (at the ages of 15, 13, and 11 years old) they were invited to participate in a Ted X talk at the University of Nevada where they told their story. They played 3 great songs and wowed the crowd. They were such a hit that they were invited back in 2017 where they talked about producing and launching their first complete LP called XXI Century Blood. They played 3 original songs from that album and wowed the crowd again. In 2018 they released their 2nd album Queen of the Murder Scene- a concept album telling the story of a young woman’s journey thru unrequited love- from love, to infatuation, to obsession, to murder, to remorse. It is an amazing album and every song is performed with great passion. In 2019 this album was nominated for the Independent Music Awards. The Warning had been independent but in 2020, after 7 months of negotiations to keep much of their independence, signed with Lava/Republic records. At the time they were 20, 18, and 15 years old. Dany is an accomplished guitar player and sings lead most of the time. Pau is a world-class drummer and sings backup and lead (lead about 25% of the time). Ale´ is an amazing bass player and sings backup and lead when necessary (a bit shy about singing lead). All 3 play keyboards as needed and all 3 can jump in to cover singing lead in any song when needed. There are many solos in rock that recall this one by Maneskin, but with "Knights of Cydonia" not at all. There is a slight assonance, as with many other songs, but it really doesn't derive from this one. A classic "western rock" that of Muse and a reggae that of Maneskin. This is my opinion.
