Bob Fist, Sleep is better at what? We are from totally different planets, while we are ALL fully influenced by Sabbath NG has no interest in being a cookie cutter Sabbath rip-off and were never a “stoner rock “ band. Don’t get me wrong, I love Sleep they are old friends but there is no comparison, good or bad as we come from completely different places in EVERY way. Sleeps focus is on the groovy, stoney riff aspect of Sabbath ( Supernaut) while we focus on the meaner, heavy handed side of Sabbath (Cornucopia intro) and lyrically we are non-fiction based where Sleep is largely fictional. Now Asbestos Death were absolutely better and that is one of our major influences. Also I smoke more weed than all members of Sleep combined so who’s the Real Stoner here? 🤣
