I was surprised to learn that Mua is a Korean word. It's also the past tense of a French verb meaning to metamorphose, transform, or evolve. That's what came to mind for me when I first saw the name.

So Nopa was celebrating the gentrification of the Divisadero/western edition area? The neighborhood used to be more socioeconomically diverse. Now there is a Bi-Rite selling $24 jars of almond butter :/

This horrible show needs to be cancelled already. It’s a kind of show that shows the most snobby and arrogant people imaginable describe the food excessively.

Yes, this show is tainted by a busload of preening foodies who are full of themselves, but it was entertaining.
