Looks great! I did my first wall this summer. Got the block at Lowes, hollow and needed core filled- no big deal. It was half the price of Versa standard. I spent more time fitting the block- irregular dimensions and the sloppy casting at the top of the block created a gap between the blocks, almost 3/16" so I had to grind it, should've purchased Versa blok

My house is a 70 year old 1,000 square foot ranch, the back yard goes out 20ft, goes down hill and then runs into a creek/storm water drainage (usually dry unless we have rain). The creek is 25ft from the base of the hill. I was wanting to put a retaining wall up to extend my upper yard about 10ft. The wall would be 3-4ft. Would I need the GeoGrid since the ground has been settled for as long as it has and under 4ft? It would be the length of the yard ~ 90ft. Love the content and how well you guys work together. hey stan, once you get the leaks on that Daewoo, you should know you can turn the hydraulics up a tad on it. plumb a gauge into your system to see the pressure, and on the pump should be a screw to adjust pressure. they usually set it conservative in the factory, but turning it up a bit gives that machine the extra 15% you're talking about
@Dirtmonkey4 жыл бұрын
Would that also help the power to the tracks? thats what sucks on this thing-besides that its a general Piece haha.
@seldoon_nemar4 жыл бұрын
@@Dirtmonkey probably. It's turning the total pressure of the pump up, so anything that is driven off the pump will benefit. IDK about the pressures on that machine, it's not uncommon to find things running at 7500 PSI from the factory, and you can turn it up to 9k and still be safely in the burst ratings of hoses. the biggest downside is that your sytemn is higher stress, so any hoses that are iffy will be found fast, and neglect and abuse shows up that little bit faster. but it should be a wash with the increase in capacity and operation time
