And written on a stone where the dusty winds have long blown Eighteen words to a passing world say: "True love knows no season, no rhyme, nor no reason. Justice is cold as the Granger County clay." Yes "True love knows no season, no rhyme, nor no reason. Justice is cold as the Granger County clay". Norman Blake

Nicely done. This song is also done by Planxty, as "True Love Knows No Season"

Wasn't it written by Norman Blake? And recorded as Billy Gray

@@Dloomis494 yes, and Christy Moore said this: "it's special in that it's the first cowboy song I've heard in a Cork City pub."

Dig it. What Epiphone is Nora playing?

If I’m being honest, they’re pretty good musicians, but they could use a lot of work on their stage presence. This is easy to listen to but hard to watch.

I like the video. Nora and Stephanie perform beautifully. The mood at that moment, with the crickets, the delicate fiddle and Nora's vocals, complete the intimate interpretation of the Norman Blake classic.

I don’t find it hard to watch. What are they supposed to do, smile and dance a jig the whole time?

I love the folk music and it's down home flavor . It's like sitting on the porch listening to common folks playing.
