A full upright can often have better tone than a super short baby grand because the strings are longer with more fundamental tones vs. over tones. The grand is preferred, generally, for its faster action. This style of music doesn’t need lightening fast runs...so yeah, an upright is a great instrument, ain’t no shame in it

I’m sure there must have been other artists regularly putting out free live music like this during 2020. But I surely don’t remember them. Norah accompanied us through so much in a way that can’t be done through albums and concerts. You were missing out!! I saw her in Chicago at the House of Blues in 2000. She was amazing! Super shy at the time. She has definitely gained a great comfort over the past 20 years being on stage, but she has never allowed her fame and talent get to her head (so to speak).
