I’m so pleased I got Tyler fired up from my question last week about being paid creating bias. Tyler, I’m gonna help you out bud 😂 - it was a QUESTION not a STATEMENT. We’re actually on the same page; I was thinking of Morning Chalk Up when I asked the question (and any other media outlet that gets paid and becomes a mouthpiece for their master). I love this podcast and love how unbiased it is - hence asking the question. But I have 2 more questions for Tyler: 1) How many of the qualifying events will Heat 1 cover? Is it a challenge to cover all? 2) in response to “people are stupid” - I know a 3rd grade teacher who can teach you the difference between a question and a statement if you need? I just hope it keeps the grassroots community vibes. NCC is great because it is one of the few large fitness events that still feels like what CrossFit was back in the day. Literally no one at my gym really cares for the Open, but everyone is enthusiastic about NCC and its qualifier. The worst would be if CrossFit controls what Blair and Ben do with the event.
