the chest one looks way better from a racing perspective, the handle bar cam is veryx smooth. I thin i prefer the chest cam because you have way more details of whats happening, like standing up steering etc

I like that the handlebar cam doesn't bob up and down BUT it is vibrating like crazy creating bad blurring. If there is anyway of dampening that? Like not using the computer mount but rather hose clamping it directly to the stem with a block of neoprene or closed cell foam to aid in damping? Dunno chest cam is clearer as things stand now.

i didn't nail the settings, road was bumpier than I thought, and a lot of it gets transferred directly to the camera

I slightly prefer the handlebar camera over the chest camera, but that is only if we are talking strictly about the camera position. I really dislike that extremely distorted 360 camera that you were using recently on your handlebars. I am sorry, I think they sponsored you, but I did not watch those videos specifically because of that camera.

I like the chest mount better. Strange because I like filming with a handlebar cam myself. I guess I should change! (I don't post to a channel but my front mount is full so I usually pull my camera out of my pocket for filming.)

Dude with tennis shoes was actually riding Five Ten MTB shoes, most likely clipless. Handlebar camera is shaking like crazy, very uncomfortable to watch on large display in 4K, but I prefer its perspective over chest camera.

The chest mount is visually more appealing by far, but I imagine that the bar mount is lighter, comfortable and more convenient, so I would hold it against you if you decide to go that route, especially for important races.
