It all stems from their father who also was an gospel jazz artist Hubert Powell. They both are fluent in the drums as well. We definitely can’t leave Billy out as well.

This is cool and all, but I’m thinking about a bigger picture. Black people have the most talent. However, we don’t have an ownership mindset. We’ve been whipped into consumerism. Every other culture thinks ownership. We have literally taken over KZbin as far as musicianship. Now, it’s time for us to capitalize and actually OWN. I bet there was not one African American owned music company or piece of equipment at NAMM. By now we should have our own stuff. Let’s start making money instead of spending it so much.

There was actual at least one black owned company there at NAMM 2020 that I know of: Demon Chaser Saxophones: dcsax.store/

The problematic issue arises when a brother gets money and "ownership" then turns around and preys just like his enemy, mr.greed..ironic isn't it?

Very beautiful playing and song. Why didn't Nord hire actual musicians for the drums and vocal parts, instead of the backing track? If in occasions like this they don't want to pay for other musicians, that won't make any sense and won't help music industry either
@NaptownMinstrel4 жыл бұрын
The musicians themselves made that decision, not Nord. You thought way too deep on this one.
@tuneunleashed4 жыл бұрын
You think Nord has the money to even do that?! 😂😂😂 these guys have even trouble to sample their own sounds that they borrow from other companies
