I disagree. What gave the B3 its sound was the Leslie. I’ve heard Nords, Yamahas, and Korgs come through a Leslie and sound like a B3. The tones of a Hammond can be replicated pretty easily. The Leslie is pretty hard to replicate.

@@JayJay-hx8nc or you just didn’t understand what I was talking about. What I was referring to was the Hammonds Harmonics. It’s actual “musical tones”. Not the tonewheels and tubes. Replicating those would cost a fortune because the companies that made them either stopped making them or went out of business when Hammond folded. But clones have come close to and almost identical to the Harmonics. What has always been off and sucked is the Leslie simulations that come out of them.
