does anyone out in Nord land know if the C2D keys can be transposed? I'm playing with a band who drops everything a 1/2 step and it can be daunting to play piano in E and organ in Eb on the same tune at the same time....thank you!

The XK3 is still "copying" a B3. It is a digital reproduction, it doesn't have real tonewheels, so yes, it is a copy.

Un bel instrument ce NORD et il sonne branché sur une LESLIE 122 ou 147, mais la légende est toujours là avec les meilleurs clones HAMMOND. Je veux parler des redoutables HAMMOND séries XK et SK fabriqués par HAMMOND. Pour le même prix, pourquoi acheter une copie. Les amoureux du HAMMOND ne s'égareront pas avec des produits qui frôlent la contrefaçon. A la revente, un HAMMOND ne reste pas sur les petites annonces. J'oubliais le merveilleux NEW B3, des années de recherches chez SUSUKI (propriétaire de la marque HAMMOND) pour produire un vrais nouveau B3. Le point fort de ce clone, c'est sa fabrication de trés belle facture européenne. Autre question: comment va vieillir ce Nord en usage intensif ? usage professionnel ?

Actually it is a good synthesizer, a good copy of legendary organ Hammond B3 but sincerely when we are a passionate organist, a purist, we do not play on a copy, but on real legendary Hammond of the last generation (or a state of the art Hammond B3 for the road by Bertram) the famous series XK, what does best (XK3 / C and SK). Respect to Laurence Hammond. Furthermore, it is not more expensive, the price is perfectly affordable. So, NORD piano is famous. On the contrary, Nord makes very goo keyboards piano, nearly the Kurzweil quality, a fabulous one touch, a magnificent sound, and a rather beautiful quality of manufacturing which let us let us say is not Asian it. The best copy of legendary HAMMOND organs comes from CRUMAR Mojo in ITALIA. Since the 70's there engineers work hard on the Hammond sound, they have the world greatest experience.

Crumar is a good Italian brand but nord has become the new standard because of it's great sound, features, and tour reliability.

A beautiful instrument this NORD and it rings rather well connected on a LESLIE 122 or 147 or 760, but the legend is always here? more than ever with the best clones HAMMOND. I want to speak formidable HAMMOND series XK / XK3 C and SK made by HAMMOND. For the same price, why to buy a copy. The lovers of HAMMOND will not get lost with products which touch the forgery. In the resale, HAMMOND does not stay on classified ads. I forgot wonderful NEW B3, years of searches at SUSUKI and its greatest HAMMOND engineers (owner of the mark HAMMOND) to produce one truths and stunning new B3. The key point of this clone, it is its manufacturing of very beautiful European building. Other question: how is going to age in intensive use this Nord? Professional use on the road ?

The XK3 and the XK3c which has been out for several years bears the name HAMMOND. It is not a clone it's very real.

Good yes, copy of HAMMOND and for the same price, maybe less I've a HAMMOND XK3, the real one, the legend, the unrivaled HAMMOND by HAMMOND. Not a copy ! best regard.

Which Hammond? A real B3? Better get a second mortgage to pay for it and the maintenance costs. Also better buy a panel truck to move it and a leslie cabinet to gigs (unless you plan to just leave it at home). Or did you mean maybe an SK2? In which case it has nothing on the Nord (except fewer drawbars).

Why buy a real Hammond that cost tens of thousands of dollars, and weighs 400+ lbs? 😅 Nord has turned the Hammond into a portable instrument. It’s genius, and it looks and sounds better than the real thing 👀. At the very least it’s on par for sound. But it definitely looks better than any organ out there buddy 😅
