I literally bought a brand-new one two days ago. I sold my Roland fantom 8 to switch to nord. I am so confused about it. At first I had troubles getting the sound out to the monitor speaker, but now I changed the setting to mono... But the problem I am having now is that when I played with the band yesterday, the other instruments drowned out the Nord.. plus I can't find some sounds like fantasia and bell pads like I had on my Roland and Yamaha. Also, I had great synth presets on the Roland compared to the Nord.. but If you have any recommendations for me brother, please drop some or do some video tutorials too

There are nice sounds on the Nord but you just need to find time to dial the sounds in. Alternatively, you could just go to the Nord website and download ready-made sound banks by Mike Bereal or Felipe Martins. These sound banks are ready to use with all the typical sounds you would need for church music. About the sound, you can watch DSoundMan videos on KZbin to sort that out. Hope this helps.
