Dyneema is the strongest and greenest fiber, bio-based, produced in the USA under strict environmental production limits. The breathability os the upper is not related to the Dyneema fiber, but to the design of the fabric. Norda decided on this construction of woven material based on a set of properties that they were aiming for, Dyneema fiber can be woven or knitted in many different fabrics.

Thanks for the review Colin. Your lacing changed the 001 for me. I was fed up with the heel and ankle collar, I really stopped reaching for them. Tried your lacing and I’m back in them. (Still taking a back seat to the Tecton X2 with Inov Boomerang insoles). Thanks again.

Great review! I heard the Norda 002 lowered the stack height a bit to improve stability, and added more padding around the heel to fix the slippage issue.

Same! Really want to try the 002, I usually like higher stack shoes, but the 002 looks awesome.

I should put one out! Got another 2 pairs now, put over 700k on this pair and the cushion is definitely bottomed out but the upper and traction is still in great shape, and they feel like slippers they mold to your foot so well.

@@swiftcolin I returned my 002s which the moment I put them on I knew something wasn’t right. I got the 001s and I’m 50km in and this may just be the best all around trail/mountain shoe I’ve ever worn!! Your video is what made me get them.

Great review. I too love my 001s. Are you familiar with the 001 G+? That's the 001 with the addition of a graphene membrane for water resistance and thermal regulation for cold, wet conditions. There is also the Spike version with the carbide traction spikes, but I am interested more in just the graphene, without the spikes. Graphene itself is a remarkable material if you check it out on Wikipedia.

It’s the only thing that holds these back, everything else is awesome, they’re also pretty lightweight for what you get in traction and cushion.

744k, they are still holding up, cushion definitely flattened out, but still very comfortable.

Just ran 8 miles in them for the first time. Feet feel great. Hoping the insoles survive the water crossings 🫠

You made a great review 🔥🔥🔥 So respect for that 💪 Norda huh 🥲 I didn‘t run in this shoes myself either know about them very well 😁 But the first thing is what comes to my mind when I here the Name Norda or BOA lacing system is huge price 🤷‍♂️ By that I means above 200 or 250 dollars. Okay they are a little company and the materials are very sustainable. I understand but I can‘t see a lot of people buy this shoe even if they last almost „forever“. 😄 Build like a tank 👍 The only review about the 001 and 002 I saw recently by Loyd Pervis and in his opinion the 002 version is way better than the 001 👌 At this very I wouldn’t buy this even they last for a long long time 🤷‍♂️ For Trail shoes I ran in the Hoka Speedgoat 4 and 5, torrent 2, challenger 5, Salomon Ultraglide and Pulsar trail so far and I have to admit for liking the Speedgoat 5 is the best for me out of all this shoes 🙏 At the end we will see how the norda brand will perform in the future 👍 Keep up the good work 🔥

Thank you! I’d love to try the 002, just need to save up haha, also love the Speedgoats and torrents, so I I’m with you there. Definitely pricey to pick up the Norda though, you’re not wrong!
