8:44 As someone who has done radios in the UK army cadets, the C/S (callsign) "Sunray" is actually a callsign used in the British military (or army at least) so props to whoever came up with the callsigns, because that's actually really realistic. For those interested, sunray is the callsign of the appropriate leader or formation/unit commander and is used as a synonym for leader.

So funny thing in regards to Nordern's homebaked sponsor ad is; it is against the First Geneva Convention (there's 4 conventions and 3 additional protocols that all get lumped in as "the Geneva Convention" most of the time) for military personnel to disguise themselves as the enemy to get close enough to kill them. This doesn't apply to intelligence operatives (who will usually get shot for stealing intel if they start combat with the enemy) and it doesn't apply to military personnel who either take the enemy uniform off before engaging or don't actually do anything combat-related with that uniform - in those situations, you can disguise yourself as the enemy with no problem. But the second a military operative wearing the wrong uniform points their gun at an enemy and pulls the trigger, it's a warcrime. At least, that's what my hour of Google research turned up the other night (one of my friends was asking about it and, me being me, I had to research it) so... take it with a pinch of salt I guess? No idea on whether "sending a random Private into a base dressed as the enemy with the intent of convincing the enemy to leave said base so their own people can capture it instead" would be considered a warcrime but if you can convince the entire personnel of a base to leave for any length of time via bullshitting to their faces, you should get a damn medal. And for those wondering; The First Geneva Convention relates to how you conduct yourself and how you treat enemy sick or wounded soldiers on land battles. The Second Geneva Convention relates to how you conduct yourself and how you treat enemy sick, wounded or shipwrecked opponents at sea (this one also replaced the Hague Conventions). The Third Geneva Convention relates to how you may interact with prisoners of war. The Fourth Geneva Convention relates to how you may interact with civilians living in a war zone. The Protocols apply to all of the above Conventions; Protocol I relates to the protection of victims of international conflicts. Protocol II relates to the victims of non-international armed conflicts. Protocol III allows combat medics and doctors to use more emblems to signify who they are - the previous options were a red cross or a red crescent, this Protocol added a red crystal to the list. The Protocol also dictates that all combat medics and similar personnel bearing any of these 3 emblems are to be granted combat immunity - you do not shoot at a combat medic at all. The reason this protocol added the red crystal to the emblem list is because the red cross was too close to the Christian cross and Muslim combatants and countries rejected that emblem, so they used the red crescent instead. Most countries came up with their own emblem designs but these 3 are recognised for either international or non-international use.
