I was starting to go stir crazy off the grid in my forest cabin and yurt. A snowstorm hit us in the Yurt and Cougar or Mountain Lion tracks are all around us! I do a "Nordic" Scandinavian style Ice Swim by Ice Bathing in my wood fired hippie hot tub! Such a rush of energy! Hope the Garlic sprouts and grows strong!!!

Your lifestyle is not an easy one, with the chopping wood, and tilling the land to grow the wonderfully healthy veggies that are part of your diet. However, for us to watch, you make it seem so relatively easy, when it’s difficult. See that you have upgraded the commuter boat. Makes more sense to have a durable Aluminum craft , than those rubber ducky boats. Still not wearing life jackets that I can see, but hey who am I to judge when some want to live life on the edge. Having lived on the island for most of my life , I can say that I have lost a few friends to Davey's Locker. The sea is very unforgiving and when something unexpected happens, like an unseen submerged log or whatever., it will be too late. I have fallen into the drink a couple of times , fortunately in the harbour and in the summertime. Still an unpleasant experience. For God's sake , keep safe, especially the little one , for we know he does not know any better. Sincerely Mym.

@@juliekay7697What they do not realize is swimming with and without clothes. Usually you swim without clothes but if you fall in with your clothes on big difference. They. kind of suck onto you and they add weight. Hard to stay afloat and hard to swim. Jake should jump in with his clothes on with a safety rope to see what I mean.
