32 feet is the biggest you can handle without a crew? Good lord. If that’s the case…you shouldn’t be handling one of any size.

You know, I think you're correct. I was wrong. What I should have said is that a 32-foot motor-cruiser is about the biggest an inexperienced captain (like me) can manage solo in the San Francisco Bay, i.e. docking in crowed docks with strong winds, swirling currents, etc. Thanks for the correction!
