2008 CAN-AM Spyder

Bought this same bike. Same bike, same year a few months ago. Its amazing!! My girlfriend who's a registered nurse, was totally against motorcycles. She saw a Can Am and liked it and gave me the green light to get one. She's now my sexy biker girl and loves to ride. This video convinced me on my purchase decision. The frunk totally rock's!!

Sweet! What an awesome bike! I was blown away with how fast it is! It did take be a bit to be comfortable on the highway with it, I just had to relax and it drives straight and true! Hope you two have a blast on new adventures!

To select reverse you first select first gear ,then pull back on "R" lever and press down on foot lever ,that then places you in reverse.. To then select forward just lift gear lever , that cancels out the reverse , this is easier than video shows. When driven with a bit of gusto the bike displays a tendency to understear and thus needs a bit of encouragement to drive round a corner with any speed. A total different technique than riding a bike but one that when you get used to is so very satisfying and thoroughly enjoyable.

@@TRCAdventures it could be the battery. Do you know if my lights come on and it's making a clicking sound and won't start if that's what it could be?

@@lelelovebug1317 that does sound like the battery, have you tried jump starting it, if you have jumper cables you can jump start it with your car.

@@TRCAdventures yes we tried with my uncle's truck. That's it. No one will work on it bc it's a 2008. My uncle thought it was the starter and not the battery. Maybe I need a new battery?

@@lelelovebug1317 well you can be sure by connecting the battery cable/ jumpers from the truck directly to the starter of the Can Am, if it doesn't turn over it's the starter!

Do you have to buy a motorcycle license for this

The states of California, Nevada, and South Carolina do not require a 3-wheel motorcycle license and a vehicle license is sufficient to rent the Can-Am Spyder.

I think riding a Can am Spyder is like crossing a bike with side car with a dodgem car. Very direct steering and you don't have to worry about it tipping over like a sidecar. Great toy
