The NordicTrack 1750 and the Sole F80 treadmills are both great running treadmills. Yet, they appeal to very different runners. The NordicTrack 1750 uses a subscription-based training service called iFIT. The Sole F80 is a great option for runners who do not want a subscription-based training service. Instead, the Sole F80 has built-in third-party apps including entertainment streaming services.
The 1750 has a very soft running deck. It is also very bouncy. This treadmill is great for runners who want to recover or build their mileage up. It is also great for outdoor runners who want to take a break from road running.
The Sole F80 is a firm running treadmill. It is best for runners who want to stay acclimated to road running. If you train primarily indoors for road races, the Sole F80 will help you stay prepared compared to the 1750. The deck also does not assist your running as much as the 1750’s does.
The Sole F80 has a better warranty with lifetime coverage for the frame and motor. The 1750’s frame is only covered for 10 years and parts for 2 years. The treadmills both have 3.5 horsepower motors, so we generally expect them to hold up under the same usage and mileage.
The NordicTrack 1750 makes faster incline and speed adjustments. The Sole F80’s speed and incline adjustments are some of the slowest we have tested, but this does make it smooth and safe. The 1750 may be better for interval training.
Both treadmills are great for runners who train daily. We like that these treadmills each cover the varying needs of runners.

After a lot of research I finally settled on the Sole F80. Mostly because I do not want a treadmill that I feel I am going to miss out if I don't subscribe to the content, such as iFit on the NordicTrack.

I tried both out today and choose the Sole on the sturdiness of the treadmill seems better and no subscription is a plus too.

Was this mentioned? I might have missed it. The Sole F80 has a TWO ply double woven belt while the NordicTrack has a ONE ply belt.

when it comes to quality and guarantees, I prefer SOLE F80 plus no need for subscription.

I'm so torn. The cushioning is important to me which I know favours NordicTrack but I have zero interest in their subscription based iFit and in fact think it's a really cynical move of them to restrict their 'smart' screen to content that needs a subscription. I actually want to avoid them for that reason. Also in my recent experience their customer service is non-existent. So I guess my concern is *how much* difference is there between NordicTrack & Sole cushioning?

The NordicTrack 1750 is noticeably softer and bouncier compared to the F80 when running. When I'm walking, I hardly notice the difference. Both treadmills provide more shock absorption than running on asphalt or concrete. If you haven't considered Horizon treadmills, I would take a look at them. They do not require a subscription and are softer than Sole, but they don't have as many smart features.

I’ve been using Apple Fitness+ for my treadmill workouts. Would I be able to mirror that to F80

Yes! You should be able to mirror any content on your phone and tablet to the F80 screen.

I know f80 has options like 5K and 10K. Does NT 1750 have that?

The 1750 has 5k and 10k programs available through iFIT. These programs follow popular race routes and adjust the incline and speed automatically, so they aren't quite like the F80's 5k and 10 programs. However, you can also create a custom route in Google Maps. All of these features require a subscription to iFIT.
