The Sole F80 and F85 are very similar treadmills, they are both built for running. The Sole F85 is a bit more powerful with a 4.0 HP motor compared to the F80’s 3.5 HP motor. This makes the F85 a better choice for runners logging a lot of miles, a multi-user household, and larger runners. Additionally, the F85 can support a maximum user weight of up to 375 lbs whereas the F80 is limited to 350 lbs.
The Sole F85 and F80 have a 0 to 12 miles per hour speed range but differ in their incline range. While they both incline 15 levels, the F85 declines 6 levels. The Sole F80 does not decline. The speed and incline adjustments on both treadmills are rather slow.
There are tons of streaming apps from services you likely already subscribe to. These treadmills have apps for Netflix, Hulu, Spotify, KZbin, and more. The F85’s touchscreen display is 15.6 inches, so it may be best for users really excited about using these services. Both treadmills have these apps.
These smart treadmills share features like Bluetooth connectivity, heart rate monitoring, wireless phone charging, and screen mirroring. The Sole F80 is particularly impressive for its price point. However, the Sole F85’s large screen may be better for taller users or those with vision problems when used with the smart features.
No matter which treadmill you choose, you get a lifetime warranty on the frame and motor. These treadmills should last you many, many miles of training.

The tablet rack has a height of 5.25" to 8.5" so your tablet would need to fit inside of that range in either portrait or landscape.

Great review! 👍🏻 Could you please explain how incline/decline „levels“ translate into % ? For example: is „Level 7“ equal to 7% incline and „Level 15“ equals 15% ? Many thanks 🙏

Thank you! The maximum incline is about 12% for both treadmills. The levels are a little confusing because they do not match the %. Each level is a little less than a 1% increase.

@@royjohnson9043 Couple of things I don’t like. Start up time of console seems to take along time. Feet tend to hit belt cover when close enough to operate console.

@@royjohnson9043 Controls are fine. Speed changes seem a little slow to ramp up but that might just be a safety thing. One other nitpick is they have one screen which is a graph of speed, elevation, heart rate but its increments are 30 seconds.

I don't have an Apple watch, so I haven't been able to test this out. I'd love to hear your feedback on the treadmill! I hope you like it!

@@BestTreadmillReviews First run today and love it. Preinstalled apps work great and you are supposed to be able to display your heart rate from your Apple Watch using the Sole + app but I haven't played around with it enough yet to get it working. Tried screen mirroring and it seemed to just show bit-rate and never actually showed what I was trying to stream but will mess around with it more later. All in all, no complaints. Just some technical bugs to work on.
